I spoke with Mr. [redacted] by phone the morning of May 6th. I have agreed to lower the charge per pound of refrigerant as a bulk discount. The...

discount will be attributed to the fact that Mr. [redacted]'s system takes more refrigerant than the average. I also agreed to return to put dye in the system if and when the refrigerant leaks again. If the leak is at the compressor joints I explained that we will fix and fill the system at no additional cost to Mr. [redacted]. If the leaks are in a different part of the system Mr. [redacted] and I agreed that it was not the fault of our installation and we would still repair the leak if possible, though there would be a continuation time service charge for parts and labor. On a personal note I do want to state that our company is in no way price gouging our customers. We are a proud family owned business for over 45 years. We stand behind our work. I do not feel Mr. [redacted]'s accusations have any factual backup. Skokie valley Air Control was built on word of mouth recommendations over several decades. [redacted] is now using common sense in trying to resolve this freon leak that has occurred since the compressor replacement. I can recognize the Skokie Valley I dealt with in the past namely a company you can trust.
