Their response indicated the wood would be delivered by Thursday, January 7.  It is 9 pm on Friday, January 8 and the wood has not been delivered nor have I heard from the company.  My attorney will be contacting them.

Review: On 11/16/15, Skip's came out to deliver and stack a half cord of seasoned wood which I had purchased from them. We had agreed upon a price of $150 which I paid in full when they arrived. Soon after arrival, and delivering approximately 10% of the wood, they indicated the needed a wheelbarrow and indicated they would come back the next day and complete the delivery. They did not. On 11/18/15, I reached out to the company to ask when I could expect delivery of the wood. No response. On 11/22/15 I asked them again when I could expect delivery - no response. I tried burning a fire that evening with the "seasoned wood" they had delivered and it would not burn - it was not seasoned. After continuing to hear nothing from the company, I contacted them on 12/16/15 asking for a refund. Again, no response. On 12/28/15, I sent one final e mail indicating that this wasmy final attempt at reaching them before I contacted Revdex.com. Again, no response, so I am contacting the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I would simply like a refund. I paid in full and did not receive the product.

Review: I ordered one (1) cord of seasoned firewood to be delivered for an additional fee on or about October 2, 2014. The delivery occurred the week of October 6, 2014 at night, approximately 9:30pm, so it was difficult to determine delivered quantity and quality. Payment by check was made and subsequently cashed. Within 48 hours the wood was properly stacked in rack form with dimensions of 8 feet by 4 feet by 16 to 18 inches. The delivered wood almost filled two racks for approximately 90 cubic feet of wood, far short of the required 128 cubic feed of wood for a cord. In addition, the wood was obviously recently split and not seasoned as ordered and advertised on the company's website. I contacted the company multiple times over the subsequent weeks requesting the shortage be resolved and requested a delivery receipt, as required by [redacted] law. I was told that the company delivers frequently in my area and would stop to check the volume delivered. That has never happened.Desired Settlement: I would prefer the delivery of a full cord of seasoned wood as replacement of the partial cord of unseasoned wood I received. An alternative would be a cash refund of 30% of the price paid which equates to $66.

Review: I contracted with [redacted] to pay $230 for a full cord of seasoned firewood. He and a colleague, [redacted], delivered the wood on 10/24/14. Upon attempting to burn the wood, I discovered that the wood was green and moist, not seasoned at all. On 10/31, [redacted] came to my house to light a fire with the wood and acknowledged that it was wet -- smoky and hissing -- even as he was able to start a fire with it. I had to split the lengths into five small pieces in order to light this wood, and he used a blowtorch to start the fire. After several additional attempts to start fires with the wood, I contacted [redacted] on 11/17 and told him that he needed to fix the situation and come up with a solution by Wednesday, 11/19. I did not hear from him again. I texted him on 11/21, since his voicemail box was full and not accepting messages, informing him that I wanted either my full money back and that he could take the wood or that I would take half of the $230 back and I would keep the wood. I never heard from him. Finally, on 12/6/14, I texted [redacted] again, and he replied to my message, telling me that it was [redacted] from [redacted] who filled my order and that [redacted] had told [redacted] to resolve my problem. [redacted] had never called me. I called [redacted], to whom I had written the original check for $230, and he told me that he could not refund me my money, but that he would be willing to bring a half cord of wood to the house for $40. This was unacceptable to me.Both [redacted] and [redacted] appear to have had professional conflicts with one another, and I am unclear as to the nature of their working relationship. I contracted with [redacted] for the wood, he and [redacted] brought the load together, I wrote the check to [redacted], and each accuses the other of scamming him and customers. Neither will take accountability for the unsatisfactory product. I would also like to formally complain against [redacted], but I have discovered that no such company exists, and that it is only [redacted] email address. I don't know how to proceed.Desired Settlement: I would like either [redacted] or [redacted] to refund me the $230 I paid for the unseasoned wood.
