Subscription fraud
I work overseas & just got home to 14 packages from this company. We bought one before we left and didn't sigh up for a subscription. My CC Bill is paid by an accountant that didn't flag it as fraud. Need an RMA & refund in the form of a check. The CC has been turned off so that no more unauthorized shipments can go out.

14 times approximately $53.61

I understand that times are strange right now but this company website is down and telephone contact is impossible.

Please do the right thing.

Desired Outcome

We used the 1st one and it didn't work. Please send a Check in the amount of 14 x $53.61, total $750.54 Also send an RMA to return the 14 unopened/sealed bubble pack packages with the tubes in them.

Terrible product/company! Original purchase was supposed to be $10. Instead it was $99 and they also sign you up for a monthly subscription without your knowledge or approval for $49.99/month. SCAM

I purchased the one time sale of their product for 59.99 (that did not work). Since then I have received 7 more deliveries at 49.99 each.
I have received 8 unauthorized deliveries from Skintology. I did purchase the 1 time first delivery, but now I get 1 order a month for the price of $49.99 per month being on a fixed income this is a financial burden. If I receive another delivery before I get an answer back I am planning to go to my bank to have the payment stopped. The reason that I have let this matter go on so long is due to the fact that I have to care for a sick relative and other responsibilities that I do not want to go into at this point in time. I would like to receive all or some of the money. I will send back all unopened packages. I hope you will be able to help me with tis problem.

I never signed up for a monthly subscription and was charged more than was advertised.
In October I bought a one time purchase of the skin tag product. The advertisement was for 29.99. When I received the email notification somehow I unknowingly bought more. 99.98 and another product to accompany for 29.99. I never bought numerous products. I tried calling the number to return and was on hold for a long time and eventually could hold no longer. I wanted to approve with my dermatologist before using. Will have my annual appointment in December. but then today I received my "next monthly cream" again never signed up for it. I called again this time was on hold for less time-got through and was told the same thing as all the other complaints. I never would sign up for a subscription if something I have never tried. It is a bait and switch. Totally illegal. They state in their responses that they "also offer" this monthly subscription. That is false!! It is a lie! They do not "offer" it they default you into it. I was a full refund of $99.98 and $29.99 and $49.99. I have not used nor will I use these products. I am willing to return them fully sealed. I was only offered 50% of the last order...$49.99 and could not be refunded the initial amounts as it was past 30 days. Apparently they continue to scam people and their "efforts" to improve this miscommunication is also a scam. Shark tanks should be ashamed to support this company.

I accept their response. However I do believe they should have to change their wording moving forward as I see this has happened many many times and will continue to happen. I am happy with my resolution but need the business to be better. It seems to me if we say we are satisfied with how this was handled we are missing the opportunity to change their hidden policies. I cannot do that myself so engaged the Revdex.com to assist with actually changing this false advertising and these bait and switch practices. So am I COMPLETELY satisfied? In a word NO. They should be required to change this illegal and expensive forced "option."

I purchased 2 vials of this product and it is completely worthless. It has no effect on skin tags or moles. And if you give them a credit card number you will receive and be billed for additional product a month down the road. The product will be shipped from an address in Florida that does not even exist, so there is no way to return it, and no hopes of getting your money back. This is a. scam operation owned by a company in Las Vegas. Buyer beware!

The company continues to send product that was not ordered. The company cannot be contacted with the contact information provided.
I purchased a one delivery of Skintology MD Mole and Skin Tag Remover. I have received additional product on a monthly basis without actually authorizing these orders. The company cannot be contacted through the information provided on the product and on the companies website.

I want to discontinue any and all product orders, shipments and billing.

The business response is what I had requested. I will, of course, revisit the complaint if the business does not follow through.

Iwas charged 49.99 for an item...returned it unopened and they did not refund my money.
I am on a fixed income and I saved a little money to purchase their skin tag remover (which did work) I was happy with it. I ordered it for a total of 154.96 which is a lot of money to me. I was charged for this on June 10th 2019. Then in July I received another package and charged 49.99. I tried to reach them by responding and no answer. I returned the item unopened with a signature. I was told that I did not get an approval number so they could not refund my money. I needless to say was very mad. I still am upset over it.

I would just like a refund and let them know that it is a very bad consumer practice.

I do accept their response and I really do wish that I didn't have complain at all. They should always think about their customer.

Ordered product Never received Company said they'd resend it. never did, called and emailed numerous times, even got USPS claim # no product or refund
I order a product form Skintology MD on 08/13/2019.(Order #: XXXXXX) I never received the product even though their tracking number said it was delivered. Called and emailed multiple times. They said they'd send a new product out at no charge. Never received a tracking number or email confirmation of this. I emailed and call multiple times between 8/16/2019 and 10/04/2019. Each time a different answer. After a month of this one rep said I needed to file a claim with the USPS. Which I did (Claim #: XXXXXXXX.). I was told a refund would be processed. Never received a refund or any further communication. so I called again today. I keep getting told that they'll send my inquiry "to management."

I told them that it's been two months - they have my money and I have no product and no refund. I need my money back.

Their response is incomplete and wholly dishonest because of the information they left out of their response. This is information that they have well documented (as do I.)

I was FINALLY reimbursed AFTER contacting the Revdex.com (10/4/2019) and emailing this company that I had done so and demanded a refund. Between August 16, 2019 and October 4th, 2019 I called half a dozen times and emailed just as many trying to resolve this.

I originally called their "business" on August 16th because the package never arrived. Over the next 2 months I called no less than 5 or 6 times and emailed just as many - always receiving a different answer (we'll send a new shipment, it needs to go to "processing," it needs to go to "management", you need a claim number from the Post Office (which I got and gave them), you need to call us and verify your address, and on and on. Despite providing all this information AND following up via phone and email it took the threat of contacting the Revdex.com before they took refunding me seriously.

Here's the last email I sent and their response (10/4/2019 - nearly two months after my initial call). I've removed personally identifiable information.

What you should do is acknowledge that your customer service department is being grossly mismanaged and there's a huge breakdown. The fact that you held onto my money for almost 2 months while I had no product is now the issue.

What you should acknowledge is that you'll take this "inconvenience" and actually bring it up to management as an example of what NOT to do in customer service. You then find where the break downs are occurring and fix your process, empower your people to actually begin able to take meaningful action and work with your customers. That's what being a 'better business' is about.

Take this as a learning opportunity - someone calling 7 or 8 times and emailing just as many times only to have to resort to sicking the Revdex.com on you to get a resolution is a joke. You know it and so do I. Take a look at the case history - it should ALL be logged on your end. If not, there's your first process improvement. All that super advice I gave to you I won't even charge you for. Consider it a freebie.

Finally refunded me 100 percent AFTER I returned product at my expense AND paid a $ $7 restocking fee. Total scam!

As others have complained, this company sends out shipments that have not been authorized by the consumer.

I purchased the one time sale of their skin tag remover and cream back in July 2019. I came home to find another shipment that I did not authorize along with a charge of 49.99 on my charge card. I've called my bank to dispute the charge as un authorized but more importantly, someone should look into the practices of this company and bring them up on charges. This is switch and bait and they hope no one will take it past calling their customer service number where they aren't helping any of the customers who call in.

My account has been refunded

Complete scam. I was charged for things I did not order, nor want and when I called to cancel they were very reluctant to refund my money and kept trying to give me a discount so that I would keep the product. To make matters worse, it doesn't even work!

Total scam. This product does not work. Now they have sent me an additional tube of the cream and charged my credit card which I did not order. I am disputing this item and have contacted them regarding this issue but so far have not had any response. Stay away from this Company.

This is the most horrible company I have ever dealt with. They are HUGE SCAM!!! The product does not work!!! And when you try to return they don't give you the full refund at all. They want you to pay for shipping plus a restocking fee. No where on the order screen did it say it was a subscription for over and over again. I called customer service and complained for almost an hour before they agreed to refund me the charges. First it was a restocking fee and pay shipping back, then it was "we'll give you 25% back". Ten minutes later it was "We'll give you 50% back". Ten minutes later it was "We'll give you 75% back and you can keep the product". It's like their business model to snag as many unwitting suckers as they can, then, if they complain, at least get them to pay for 75% of the order they didn't want. They told me I agreed to this when I ordered. But where can I find that out for myself? They had no answer. The confirmation emails I received said nothing of this agreement and they should!! And this is a Shark Tank winner!?!? It's just a pyramid scam to make money any way possible!!!!

This is a scam that takes money from your account every month without you realizing when you purchased your single item you were signing up for monthly deliveries. Getting in touch with them is impossible they don't respond to emails

I really wanted to avoid any surgical procedures to get rid of the skin tags on my face and I am so glad I found Skintology online. It has helped immensely and since they run in the family, I already told them about you guys. Thank you!!!!

I ordered a 1-time product and was charged a second time. The product didn't work and I wanted a refund but was told I'd only be partially refunded.
I ordered the 1-time product for $59.99 on June 22, 2019 but when I looked at my account today there was a second charge for $49.99. I emailed them about this and let them know that I wanted a full refund as the product didn't work, and was told that they could only cancel the "subscription" over email and I had to contact the the toll-free line about a refund. The woman on the phone insisted that I had bought a subscription (which I know wasn't true) and told me that I could not get a refund for the first order because it was past the 30-day warranty but today is the 30th day of the warranty (it's July 22,2019) and proceeded to tell me that they could only give me back 25% of my money for the second charge if I chose to keep the product. She also said that I'd only be able to get 75% of the $49.99 if I paid for shipping and handling to send the product back with an additional $7 stocking fee on top of that. When I told her that I was returning the product because it didn't work, she spoke to her manager and offered me 50% of the refund and the ability to keep the product. I told her I didn't want to keep the product as it didn't work for me and she responded that I should call again for the return information.

Desired Outcome

I simply want for them to give me back my $109.98 back and to pay for all the expenses to send it back (with the stocking fee) if they wish for me to return the product.

Their response didn't include any plan to change their misleading business practices. They also need to list a working contact email address AND their phone number on their website contact page in order for customers to reach them easily. I attempted many times to use the listed email address and I kept getting undeliverable messages. They also don't list their phone number which tells me they don't want to be contacted by unhappy customers.
My refunds have been received, but I want to know that future customers won't experience the same thing I had to endure.

It was supposed it be a free trial they keep sending and billing my credit card .
April 12.2019 first package arrived I had purchased an additional cream.They billed my credit card $49.99 April 29th 2nd package arrives.they billed my credit card. May a package arrives I returned it .3 weeks later another package the Postman said write refused on the package I did.They billed my credit card again $49.99 I have not kept the product. On my bill it says Skintology Chula Vista California .The packages come from Florida I want this resolved.I don't want my credit card to be charged for products that have been returned.

To have May and June $49.99 taken off of my credit card since I did not keep there product nor did I order it more than the one time. I wanted to try it and see if it would help.It did not work for me. I do not want this product.

Stay away. This is 100% a scam. The product is overpriced, it does not work, you are tricked into a subscription that is difficult to cancel and they will not take the product back and credit you for something you did not want in the first place. How is this business model even legal?

Skintology Md put me on a monthly prescription plan with out my consent. For 4 months they have charged my credit card and I want a complete refund.
Back in February I decided to try Skintology MD a product to remove my skin tags. I only purchased a set of two. Order Confirmation #XXXXX I only authorized a 1 time purchase in the amount of $99.98. Unfortunately it wasn't working and gave me a rash. I then received 2 more packages unopened March 28 $49.99 (emailed company no response) and April 28 $49.99. On 5/1/19 I then called and requested the account to be canceled, a request to return payment of money taken fraudulently and I will return products no problem just let me know how. I was told processing would take some time and it would be resolved and I would receive email confirmation. I waited....
Sent another email tried the email address on the website: [email protected] (which at current is obsolete)
I received 2 more packages! I'm not rich and now it hurt my credit card. I was assured it was canceled. I'm out $203.58.
I called again on 7/9/19 and they had no record of me calling or emailing. At current they said they will:
1.Cancel my account and refund me June 27 $ 53.61 & May 28 $49.99. However since they have no record of the previous call (conveniently), or emails I will not receive March or April?
2.They would be emailing me confirmation within 24-48 hours. However that is what they said back in May. I don't feel I can trust them to follow through and I want ALL my money back, a full refund.
3.As of now they are blocked from my credit card through the credit card company.
4.I did make them aware I would be contacting Revdex.com, as they refused to let me speak to a manager to rectify the other fraudulent charges.
Please help...
I'm disappointed that this seems to be a practice of many new products. Very untrustworthy.
