I would like to do a writing course, With you organization I have never written a novel before. And the whole truth is, I Do not know where to begin, Can you assure me. That I will not be wasting my time paying for something and not getting any pleasure from you.
I think this is some sort of joke. now I am not a great speaker either but the presenter was awful, nervous, mispronouncing words, constantly flailing her hands about, they didn't edit and one lesson actually began with her fixing her bangs. some of the lessons were only 7 sec long. it would be hilarious if you didn't want to laugh meanly at someone. just so bad. and a negative review won't post on the site no matter what you put in it. the refund request link doesn't work. oh my lord
My wife got a groupon for a $5 SQL class that normally cost $200. IMO $5 was too much. The "learning" format was just watching videos, then typing in the same commands that the video showed. All the material covered in the "course" (which was not much) can be found online for free, with even more broad and advanced into. I just want to warn anyone that might pay $200 thinking they were going to get a legitimate e-learning experience.
Review: This company offers online educational courses for the price of $199 via their website or $19 via other retail sites. The course I took was titled "Photography for Beginners Masterclass". It consisted of 20 2-minute videos that barely offered any educational information. No other educational materials were offered, so quizzes or tests were given, and there was no way to interact with an instructor. After I completed their course, I discovered the same video series they charge $19-199 for was available for free on YouTube. Other courses are offered on the site, all of which I assume are also stolen from other websites. I posted a question in their FAQ section and it was immediately deleted, as was my review of the course. I requested a refund and have not heard back from them. There is no conact information on their website, so there is no real way to contact them. The contact information I have is from a domain registry search, and it shows that owner of the website is using a service to hide their identity.Desired Settlement: I would like to see this company shut down. At the very least, I don't want anyone else to fall for this scam.

Response:
We offer online education courses for the price of $199 and
have run limited promotions for $19 at various times. There are in fact 27
course videos in the Photography for Beginners Masterclass and the course is
taught by a professional photographer and teacher of over 22 years.
We offer additional educational materials (optional
purchases) such as our 100 page Photography Course Handbook for the price of
$9.95. There are no tests or quizzes given with the course.
As for your claim that the same video series are available
for free on YouTube, we would like to you respond with the links to prove this
claim as we will go after whoever posted this through a DMCA Copyright Notice
as all course videos in the Photography for Beginners Masterclass is original
content that we produced in-house.
Your assumption that the other courses on our site are ‘also
stolen from other websites’ is also not true. We have agreements with each and
every instructor for the content on our website.
The way to interact with the instructor is to either 1)
email our customer support directly or 2) post in the individual course’s FAQ
for all other students to see. In either method, a response will be promptly
given. If your FAQ is deleted, it is because it was deemed as a personal issue
and our customer support team will email you directly. We moderate our FAQ
section because we want to have it be questions that are widely applicable to
other students in that course. Your review was held in moderation due to the
contents of it. As for your refund, you had mentioned in an email contact to us
on August 17th that you had already requested a refund from the
website you purchased our course from.
We have multiple contact opportunities for you to reach us.
(As an example, you have filed this Revdex.com complaint so you must have our contact
information). There is a link in the footer of our website that says “Contact” or
you can send any instructor a direct message.
We apologize for any inconvenience and not being able to satisfy
your goals with the photography course. We believe the best course of action is
to request your refund so you can get your $19 back to put towards a
photography course you will enjoy more. We wish you success in your education
and again, am sorry for not giving you the experience you had hoped for.
