The choice of a replacement must be made by the retailer or the manufacture. The ongoing repair issues started with the unit not being installed to the proper water supply requirements stated in the owners manual. This was determined at the first service visit that was brought to our attention that there was an issue with the unit on 10/20/16 by the retailer. The second call was to the retailer that passed it to our company on 1/20/17. This service visit had a part installed as directed by the manufacture for an update to a known issue with this model refrigerator to correct ice production issues. On 3/6/17 a claim was called in by the consumer to our company for the ice failing again and ice in the freezer issues. The technician removed ice blockages in the water system found on the service visit. The current open service repair was called in on 3/15/17 and per direction from the manufacture technical support team we are to replace several parts, one of witch is due in on 4/10/17. We were able to obtain the part sooner from the manufacture directly and our company is scheduled to have a technician back out to the home to attempt the repair directed from the manufacture on 3/31/17.
