On January 16 2017 [redacted] submitted an online order for a [redacted] on the Gear-Fire website via the Nor Cal Gun Vault portal. When Nor Cal Gun Vault received the order summary, we immediately reached out to [redacted] to let him know that the order would not be processed due to erroneous...

pricing on Gear-Fire's behalf. We contacted Gear-Fire to make the correction. We Credited [redacted] the amount that his card was processed, and notified him via email. [redacted] responded to the email with his non-acceptance of the credit, and his desire to continue the transaction, or he would be notifying State and Federal agencies. We explained to [redacted] that in order to process any online order, he would be required to agree to all listed terms and conditions (which he did) and due to that we would not be able to process the order. His credit card was refunded via the Gear-Fire website, and it was explained to him that it would take 7-10 days to process. Nor Cal gun vault is unable to fulfill [redacted]'s desired settlement due to the terms and conditions that he agreed to when conducting the transaction. Nor Cal Gun Gault has refunded all processed payments, and is willing to facilitate a transaction for the same firearm at the correct price.  Additionally,Attached are the following: A detailed description of the incidentA sequence of eventsThe email showing a credit to the customer [redacted] ( and his response )A copy of the Terms and conditions ( see website disclaimer as well as online price & description errors )A screenshot of the checkout screen where it is necessary to agree in order to process the transaction In summary, this was a unfortunate event. Due to an error with technology ( unbeknownst to us, and promptly corrected ) an invalid price was displayed for a line of products. We only wish to continue the 5 star customer service ratings that we are often afforded. We do not wish to take advantage of a bad situation, only to correct any issues, and offer fair business to our customers. Please feel free to reach out with any additional questions or concerns. Thank you, [redacted] | General Manager

I am rejecting this response because: I believe in the state of California this it is considered a "Bait and Switch scheme"and falls under code 12024.2 It is your responsibility as a business to be very diligent when posting  prices online or in store. If an has error has occurred with your pricing do to subcontracting to [redacted] it still falls within your responsibility to honor the posted price for what ever the item may be.   You cannot just force someone at checkout to comply with store policies that are not even legal in the state of California. If you had canceled the order before it was processed and deducted from my account then you might have had some wiggle room under your stated store policies but this was not the case. I received two different emails one stating my order number/receipt and a second with the transaction approval amount. At this point I still believe I am entitled to my purchased [redacted] at the original purchase price of $51.29.
