I hope this e-mail finds you wellMy name is *** ***I am The General Manager at KaZeI just received the letter that you sent to us regarding *** *** complaintOn the evening of August 8th, *** *** called and placed a to go orderWe told her it would be ready in minutes
She arrived an hour later and decided that she no longer wanted what she orderedShe ordered something new and went to the bar to wait for her orderThe bartender ran her pre paid card for the orderShe had just enough money on her card to for her dinnerShe then proceeded to order SakeThe bartender asked her how she was going to pay for it and she said that she didn't have any money and would call her mom to make a payment over the phoneWe do not take payments like this normallyWe let her know that we would be unable to take the payment over the phoneAt this juncture she went to the hostess and had her mother authorize a gift card over the phone while both managers were busyShe then ordered another Sake at the bar unbeknownst to the management staff as we were busyWe then started receiving guest complaints of a woman calling one of our bartenders a "racist." I went back to the bar to investigate and find that She has had her mother purchase her a gift card over the phone and had more sakeshe had become verbally abusive to bar guest, and staff at this juncture before putting her head down and appearing to be asleep at the barIt was at this juncture that she was asked to vacate the premisesMind you we dealt with this for over an hour while we were extremely busy on a Saturday nightI refunded the $balance on her gift card and asked her to leaveAlso Mind I am an African American male myself, and she became verbally abusive towards me about putting her out because she was African AmericanOnce she was off premise she called the restaurant every minutes for nearly an hour that evening asking why she had been kicked outI explained to her three separate times, but she continually called for nearly an hourI finally had to threaten to involve the authorities for harassment if she did not stop calling after about an hourOver the past few weeks she has called a handful more times and continued to be a nuisanceIt is a very rare occurrence here that we turn someone awayShe was given the benefit of the doubt more than once that evening, but continued to make my staff and guest feel uncomfortable and threatened by her behaviorFor that reason she is not allowed to return to our establishment Regards, -- *** *** General Manager KaZe OTR *** *** ***
