Review: On Friday, 11/21/14, at 1:45 pm, I and a friend went into the Yreka branch of Siskiyou Central Credit Union (SCCU) to pay off a vehicle loan I had with them. I was in a relatively good mood and excited to be finally paying off my truck that I had been paying on for several months. I am normally an easygoing soft natured guy that hardly ever complains and just asks to be treated fairly. You can ask [redacted]. He knows and has worked with me in the past at [redacted]. On this day, I was standing in line and was directed to go see "[redacted]" at her booth to do the transaction and paperwork there. Please understand in the past I have ALWAYS been welcomed and greeted by a smiling face and friendly staff at SCCU whenever I had any questions or business to do at BOTH branches. So you can imagine my shock and disbelief when a "RUDE" and obnoxious employee obviously put out and taken away from her normal duties was asked to come and help me. She angrily gave us the payoff amount and directed us to the tellers at the counter. Wondering why [redacted] couldn't have helped us, we did as she suggested. After, I had MANY questions on how to handle the DMV paperwork of getting the title straightened out, [redacted] REFUSED to help us any further. I politely informed [redacted] that I have ALWAYS had helpful and quality customer service minded employees from SCCU and asked why was she being so rude. She refused to answer or help us any further, and abruptly walked away. Until this encounter I have always found SCCU's customer service to be exemplary and have considered SCCU to become my primary bank. Now, I will be awaiting SCCU's response to this complaint to ascertain whether I will ever do business or set foot in either branch again.Desired Settlement: Optimimally, I would like an APOLOGY from [redacted]. But minimally, I wanted to inform the management of SCCU of an abusive employee who needs to be reprimanded.
