Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:This is the first I have been told of a new cap
the kitchen drawers still do not stay closed
the counter top is more than 2inches wider in the back oh the cabinets and their employee, who is overseeing the job, stated it was measured incorrectly
they still have not addressed the gouge in my window ledge
the did not call me or respond by e-mail for weeks, nor return to my home until I spoke with the referral agency for the second time and the agency contacted them
regardless of a promise to complete SIR did not communicate between Mark and Rene, resulting in them repeating "review of the insurance estimate" and work not even beginning until Late August and remains unfinished Two and 1/months, without completion is excessive
they touched up the cabinets, which I told Rene that I would not accept without discount They did so without my agreement, and without communication that they would not discount the job
I would think SIR would be pleased that I did not go forward with the lean on her bond instead of sounding annoyed I can still go that route if she prefers
As the referral agency stated to me that this is their second major complain recently, Ii would think this is a time for her to change practice rather than continue in this poor manor
Sincerely

November 4, 2015Revdex.comPO Box 1000DuPont, WA 98327 RE: Consumer Complaint #[redacted]Dear Revdex.com,Thank you for contacting us regarding Mrs. [redacted]’s concerns. We received a signed contract on July 15, 2015 to perform water damage repairs...
to Mrs. [redacted]’s home. To clarify, SIR did not promise a completion date in the 2nd week of August, though Mrs. [redacted] made it known that is when she wanted to have her project completed by. We informed her that we would do the best we could, but that all of our project start dates were roughly 4 weeks out upon receipt of the signed contract. We, however, began the process with her upon receipt of the signed contract, including scheduling walk-throughs, lining up our subcontractors, going through the product selection options, determining access, etc.We are still in the process of finishing up the work. The complaints that Mrs. [redacted] has brought forward were in the middle of being addressed when she contacted the Revdex.com. In fact, SIR was addressing these concerns prior to Mrs. [redacted] contacting her insurance carrier as well. Please review the details below for further information. The cabinet doors that were damaged during the installation have been replaced with new and any scratches to the main parts of the cabinets have been repaired. In regards to the scratch on the new refrigerator door, we are working on procuring a replacement door. At this time it is on back-order.The one wall that was dented on the corner during the flooring install has already been repaired – including drywall, texture and paint. Mrs. [redacted] painted the area herself with faux finish. We are not aware of any other walls that were damaged. The stairwell rail cap has a gouge on it that happened during the flooring installation. A new railing cap has been purchased and it will be fabricated, stained and finished to match the existing rail cap.SIR is unaware of what Mrs. [redacted] is referring to regarding counters being measured incorrectly. We believe the adjustment Mrs. [redacted] is talking about is her request to have these items addressed, which is already happening. We were also not made aware of a complaint to the referral agency until well after we’d already been addressing these items. SIR is also unaware of any threat to our bond.In regards to the handles for the cabinets, the replacement doors and cabinet scratches took two business days to address – once all of the doors were hung properly and checked for proper alignment, (etc) we then installed the handles. We are not sure what was ridiculous about this.We understand that Mrs. [redacted] is frustrated and wishes to have the job complete. We also desire to have it completed as quickly as possible. We ask that Mrs. [redacted] continue to work with us regarding access to facilitate this. We are very sorry for the damages that occurred to her cabinets by our installer the first time around and we are doing all that we can to correct those mistakes. Our management team has also been making efforts to improve our communications with Mrs. [redacted]. To date, SIR has not received any monies on our contract or change order work performed. Mrs. [redacted] will be receiving a detailed billing and any appropriate credits will be included. The original contract price was $22,053.97, and a change order was added for $215.40.The Revdex.com or Mrs. [redacted] can contact SIR Management at [redacted] to discuss any concerns going forward.
Thank you. We are in the process of trying to work on the areas of concern brought to our attention and we are also trying to meet with Mrs. [redacted] in person to go over everything to ensure her concerns are addressed. We have not billed anything to Mrs. [redacted] yet so any appropriate credits have yet to be established. We encourage Mrs. [redacted] to meet with us once she returns from Florida so we can work out all of the details with her. We are certainly not annoyed with Mrs. [redacted] as mentioned in her reply.
