Just like a new car a home takes some time before you know whether or not you made the right choiceSingletary built my home almost two years ago and I have no issuesthe house is settling fine nothing has broken down and when I did have small issues they were very helpfulThe house is solid and I could not be happier

Poor building supplies used. Front and back stairs' wood cracking, greatly distressed, or bowing. Uneven wood wallboards, electrical plugs not connected so plugs can be pushed into the outlets, painting undone on top of bookcases, screws not flush in many areas, outlets and vent not leveled properly, laundry area not properly insulated and drafty. Driveway has long crack and garage left unfinished. large amount of downstairs off the rec room area left without wallboard, carpet, and painted. Yard not properly seeded and has many spots of grassless areas. Rocks and debris surfacing from untilled soil areas. Part of lot had to be fenced off for a drainage ditch which was not disclosed when lot was purchased. Unfriendly customer service and multitudes of terse answers why things couldn't be fixed under builder warrantee. This builder did the show homes for American Home Makeover but obviously didn't do the standards he did for those shows/
