Review: To whom it may concern,I am a 65 year old senior citizen who was taken advantage of and defrauded by a vehicle repair shop. On April 25, 2013, my vehicle broke down and I stopped in to Singh Tire Center for a diagnostic and repair. A gentleman by the name of [redacted] Singh owns the shop and the mechanic's name is [redacted]. On that day, April 25, 2013, it was determined by the mechanic, [redacted], that my vehicle needed a new alternator. It was agreed that Singh Tire Center would source the part through their supplier which they did through [redacted]. The total bill I payed that evening was $215.00, $145.00 for the part and $70.00 was for labor. Prior to paying for the repair, I had inquired about the warranty provided for the service. I was told by the owner, [redacted], that the part had a lifetime warranty and that labor would be warrantied for a period of two years after the date of repair. Due to the above, I paid for the repair. Much to my dismay, on 5/25/2013, my car broke down again due to a bad alternator. The same alternator I had repaired at Singh Tire Center a little over a month prior. My car broke down on a busy I-95 over the [redacted] bypass highway and I was forced to pay a 95 dollar towing fee. The vehicle was taken back to Singh Tire Center where Singh refused to honor his warranty for labor. I needed the vehicle repaired and was forced to pay an additional 40 dollars for labor. That was in addition to the 95 dollar towing charge I incurred. Again, on 07/20/2013, my vehicle broke down due to a faulty alternator. I paid 10 dollars to charge the battery and once more went to Singh Tire Center where I was charged 80 dollars for labor and once more they refused to honor the warranty. I feel like this repair facility purposefully installs parts so that they fail early. I also feel like I was taken advantage of and defrauded due to my old age. I would like a refund in the amount of $375 dollars for all costs I had incurred during the multiple repairs. I don't want to got to this facility again.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund in the amount of 375 dollars for all costs I incurred.
