Review: I purchased a TV from Singer's Appliances on 8/9/2013, it came with a 90 Day Warranty that will last till 11/10/2013. They delievered the TV on 8/10/2013. I paid extra for them to deliever the TV and to take the old TV away. Around 9/8/2013 the TV stopped working. I called and spoke to [redacted] Singer, I explained the situation. He was okay with having the TV looked at but I had to bring it in. I had to explain to him that I don't have a car and that I had it originally delivered to me. [redacted] finally gave in to where he would pick up the TV, however they will charge me $50 for them to pick up the TV and send it to a repair shop to see if they can repair it. I asked if they could simply replace the TV, he said no. I am a senior citizen, on a fixed income, and I use public transportation, I am not able to return the TV by myself and I should not have to pay anything extra for Singer Appliance to honor their warranty.Desired Settlement: I do not believe I should be charged additional money to have them make good on their warranty. I would like them to either replace my TV or refund me the money, including cost for them delivering the original TV and picking up my old one.

Customer did purchase a brand new HD TV from our store on August 8, 2013. It is a 26" Samsung Model # [redacted]. The customer has stated that the warranty is offered and guaranteed by our store, this is incorrect. As this was a brand new in the box TV it is warrantied by its manufacturer Samsung, because of its size the warranty included is a carry-in warranty in which parts are covered for 90 days & labor is covered for 1 year. Unfortunately the TV **. [redacted] purchased did stop working not long after he purchased it, because it is still within 90 days from purchase date any & all repairs are being covered. The issue at hand is that **. [redacted] does not have the availability to "carry-in" the TV into a repair store, we asked him if he had someone who could help him with this matter, he said no, we then offered our services at a charge of $50 which will be used to pay our delivery men & cover gas expense for the 2 round trips that are needed to complete this repair.
Review: I bought a portable washer from this store that only worked in my home for six months under a two year warranty. They sold me the washer for almost double its current market value. In addition, the only want to offer me a settlement of $189.00 and make me pay for shipping and handling of my broken machine to the manufacturer.Desired Settlement: I should receive a replacement for my washer without any out of pocket expenses on my behave especially when my washer only worked for six months.
