Sinauer Associates, Inc.

There is a problem with the product but this is as much a customer service issue as the company does not provide tech support.The product is [redacted] 4 Beta 10, a phylogeny computer program distributed by Sinauer. The customer PO is XXXXXXXXX, my customer ID is XXXXXX, the invoice ID is XXXXXX, the invoice date is 9/19/2014, the product code is XXX-X-XXXXX-XXX-X, and the [redacted] serial no. is 8-BXXXXXX-XXX. The site ([redacted])is misleading saying that there is tech support, but there isn't. I am subscribed to the e-mail list, and I sent a message to the e-mail address for tech support, but there is no way to reply even though there are replies and my message was never posted (after a week). If I had known there was no tech support I would never have bought the program because I know I need it judging from past experience with other phylogeny programs (I had tried [redacted] and [redacted] which were all free, but none of them worked except for [redacted] but it no longer does, and [redacted] had no tech support), and 125$ is a lot of money. Also, I sent an e-mail to Mr. or [redacted] explaining the problem with the e-mail list and the program but received no reply. [redacted] is the designer of the software. This is an especially important analysis as it's megataxonomy.Desired SettlementPAUP must either provide tech support until the problems are solved so that I can use the program or send me a full refund including the 30$ postage.
