Good afternoon ***, we refunded the customer $She picked up the check Friday
On Febi took my car in for an oil change and tire inspection and tire rotation, a few days later my tire alert went on stating the tire pressure was lowI took the car to Simpson Garden Grove dealer on 02/at 7:am and was advised they do not do any tire replacements if I needed a new tire, but it was probably the tire pressure that needed to be reset I didn't have to check in my car, no papers were signedI had my car back within minutes and the tire pressure alert was no longer onOn 02/the alert came on again and decided to take the car to a different Chevy dealer who advised the tire had a puncture and they would not be able to let me leave with out replacing the tireUnfortunately the make and model does not come with a spare and they had to order the tire so I had to rent a car from the dealer and paid 86.00, in addition to this I also lost hours of pay from work to be able to take care of thisSomething that could have been taken care of originally when I had took it to get servicedThe money is not an issue but my life was at riskPer the service department who fixed my car advised I could have had a blowoutI definitely will not be going back to Simpson Chevrolet!
We have attempted to contact this customer on occasions. We are willing to repair the brakes as requested provided the customer removes the negative review that she posted

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I am rejecting this offer because they claim they have tried to get ahold of me 4 times. Yet I have NO emails, NO missed calls, and NO voicemails. I had to pay to rent a car $67 for 3 days and paid $150 to buy breaks and have them done. The breaks were so bad it was unsafe for my children to be in the car. The lied to me about needing new rotors. I took them to the auto shop and they sanded them down and now they are fine. If they want to reimburse me the money I had to spend fine. Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove is terrible. I would give 0 no stars if there was a 0 star option.
On March 22, 2016 I leased a 2017 Chevy Volt. The lease included among other things all weather floor mats, at an extra cost.
The car I leased did not have all season floor mats at the time I took delivery. The dealership also did not provide me a second key fob. I asked [redacted], my salesperson, about the second key fob and the floor mats. [redacted] told me we could look inside a second new Chevy Volt parked next to us and if it had all season floor mats, we could just take those. That Volt, [redacted] told me, had already been sold and was awaiting the owner to come and take delivery. Essentially, what [redacted] told me is we can take property that was already sold to someone else. [redacted] also told me I would have to return tomorrow to get the second key fob which, he said, had been left at Simpson other dealership in Irvine.
I told [redacted] to provide the key fob and the all weather floor mats (who presumably he would not have to take from someone else's car) the next day.
The next day, I called and [redacted] told me that they second key fob was lost and he would have to order a new one. A few days past and the dealership called and said a new key fob arrived. I was then advised that I would have to leave the vehicle with the dealership for 2-3 hours while the new key fob was programmed.
At this point I was becoming annoyed. Why would a dealership lease a car with only one key, especially when the lease agreement provides that when the car it returned I have to return both keys of be charged? And why should I be without my brand new car for 2-3 hours (excluding time driving to and from the dealership) because of there error.
As it turns out 2-3 hours was a conservative estimate. On April 14 2016 I brought the car in to have the key fob programmed and the all season floor mats placed inside the vehicle. The dealership had the car for 2 days, not 2 hours. Meanwhile, at my request a very, very, very, very low end rental car was provided that frankly was embarrassing.
On April 15 I picked up the car. At pick up, the Service Department told me the key fob ordered was defective and they would have to order another key fob which will take 2-3 hours to program. Of course, the all season floor mats were not provided and Service advised me I would have to talk with [redacted]. I complained to dealership management and was essentially told that these things happen.
Later, I communicated with [redacted] and told him I would be complaining to the Revdex.com and on social media. Only then did he cause the floor mats to be mailed to me. Before my complaints he, nor anyone else followed up on the floor mats that I paid extra for.
To this day, I still do not have the second key fob. As such, when I was out of town, my wife could not drive the car because the only key was in my brief case 3000 miles away. Again, no one from the dealership has bothered to follow up despite my complaints. This dealership simply does not care about the customer experience.
I have purchased or leased cars from [redacted] and [redacted]. This is the worse dealership experience I have had by far. Buyer beware!
