It was a pleasure talking with you today and here is a brief outline to the alleged claim. We carried out a rehab project on her shore home that was damaged during in Sandy. She had already had the property raised by another company and now the interior all needed replacing. I will mention that we...
were the 3rd company on this project as the client had fallen out will the previous ones for one reason or another. [redacted] was trying to get a claim settled through her insurance company. Although it was not my responsibility I did offer to assist in trying to explain to their insurance company the extent of the damage to hopefully help the claim to be satisfied. This involved several phone calls and some emailing of information. Unfortunately the insurance company did not agree and subsequently denied that part of the claim. With regards to the so called nails popping up, this is the first time I have heard about this. If they would like to contact me I will be happy to look into it for them. As a side note I would ask that our profile be removed as I did not requested to be registered with the Revdex.com in fact when I was asked some time ago I specifically said no to being registered with the Revdex.com
Review: I entered into a contract with Simply the Best back in March. I was told that if I signed the contract "today" then the work would be completed by the end of Spring. After fully paying these people, they did not showing up very often - some weeks not at all. They worked 2 days per week when they worked at all. Now it's almost November, my property is a mess with their construction materials, the job is nowhere near done, and they don't answer the phone or emails. The room now leaks and urgent messages to them do no good. I have not heard from them in 2 weeks now. Their work is poor and many things need to be redone. They talked a very good game but this is the worst contractor experience I've ever had.Desired Settlement: I need these people to finish this job, correct their mistakes and clean up my property.
