The owner of this business was rude during a phone interaction to a follow up phone call that he placed to me (his words for clarification of the order "most people don't realize what they have" this was inference to items that they own) to an order that was placedHe used profanity and hung up on me during the first phone callI have since cancelled my order with him
Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID[redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Upon placing my order I was charged (shipping included) $110.00, this is an established fact, & I have since been informed that it was an error. I acknowledge & comprehend this. I was given the "chance to purchase the item", I acknowledge & comprehend this, but it was the amount which appears to be the typical retail price on their website ($269.00); I was not offered a "discounted price" (see "trail of email communications"). What is the sellers definition of fair? I have never received an apology for this trouble. And it would have been nice to have "met in the middle", as they put it, but I have not seen the middle offered anywhere. Again, I have not once received an apology & I was indeed offered to purchase the item, but it was at no discounted price; I was initially charged the (shipping included) $110.00 & then was instructed to pay the remaining, which was an additional $159.00. This is hardly "discounted" or meeting me "in the middle". If they really want to "meet in the middle" & are contending that I owed a total of $269.00 & was initially charged $110.00, then the middle would be a total of (shipping included) $189.50. I would have been willing to accept that. Regards, [redacted]
To Whom It May Concern: Attached
you will find documentation regarding this complaint. As you will note, we did
try and give this customer a chance to purchase the item from our online store.
Our online store had a glitch, which we...
were unaware of at the time, and did
not add up the invoice correctly for the customer at his final purchase. We
gave him a chance to purchase the item (at a discounted price), but not at the
price he thought it should be. He knew the correct price, because he had been
shopping in our online store. We cannot make the item for the price he thinks
it should be, therefore we refunded his purchase price (see trail of e-mail
communications). He maintained that we should "honor" the $110 price,
even after we explained the mistake. We believe
we have been fair to this customer and tried to meet him in the middle. However, he fails to understand or acknowledge
that the item costs significantly more money.
