We started services of "Autism Home Support Services" (AHS) in Jan for our son [redacted] We started with days a week and gradually increased itWe have a top notch insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO)Before starting, we provided them insurance info and started only after (verbal) understanding that they would not charge any copay from us(Since the service was to be used frequently, the co-pay per visit could add up quickly)Considering this (and the fact that we have very good insurance coverage), many providers waive patient's co-pay if negotiated up frontIt helps both the parties and is a common practice Unfortunately, our son did not benefit from their serviceWe had issues with their staff member(s) throughout the year and there was a lot of heart burn on either sideSo finally we terminated their services on Jan 9, I am complaining about their graceless behavior after the factAfter we terminated their services they started sending us bills
