Simplicity Settlements

Review: My Husband and I purchased our home in [redacted] We used Simplicity Settlements LLC [redacted] ###-###-####. Virginia * F[redacted] was our closing specialist.

We paid her extra money for Title insurance to do a Title search on our 4 lots and house. After everything came back ok we bought our home and started the renovations using our life savings. In October of 2015. I Decided to go to my credit union and get a mortgage on our home. That is when we found out that our home (a double wide) has an active title through the DMV. I went to Virigina about this and she continued to tell me the title search she did was just on the lots not my home and refuses to help rectify this situation.

I have submitted 2 different documents to the DMV myself as well as went to my State representative [redacted] about it. Which I was told that since we paid for title insurance the Settlement Company should take care of this. I have attempted multiple times to contact Virginia about this matter and I always seem to get the same response “there’s nothing I can do I’ve done all I can”Desired Settlement: We Want our Title reliquished like it should have been done to begin with plus all fees we paid to her as well the money we have personally paid out to try and resolve this.
