This company has lost a package valued at over $1500; found it, entered into a contract to pay shipping and duty to return it to me and refused to pay for brokerage fees and shipping, violating our contract. They will not answer correspondence, phone calls and social media responses and I am currently suing them for fraud and cross border theft over $300.
I have emails confirming our contract of paying all shipping and duty and have tracking info and voice messages proving that they have not done so and have willfully and negligently ignored all correspondence to fix the matter.
Don't do business with Simple Global!
I worked with them for more than a year, during which time the quality of their work deteriorated. Two months ago I sold my Trucker's Friend product line to another company, and subsequently paid Simple Global $39,000 as full and final settlement of all debts owed. This was a grossly inflated charge, but I was stuck because I had to get my Trucker's Friend products shipped out.
Recognizing that I was upset with this charge, the CEO, Darius Banasik offer me a $5,000 credit as an inducement to keep my small remaining inventory of ice scrapers with them.
Shortly after this large payment, Darius informed me that they had discovered $8,000 in additional charges for work performed prior to the payment-in-full so now of course I was in debt to them again. At about the same time the buyer of the Trucker's Friend products and parts notified me that Simple Global had shipped thousands fewer pieces than they had certified in their inventory count - and that I now owed the buyer perhaps as much as $9,000 to recoup what they paid me for the missing units.
With all of this, I decided to remove my remaining products - about 500 ice scrapers/snow plow and assorted backer cards and miscellaneous parts.
I was informed that the charge for a day's work assembling the boxes onto pallets would be $11,000. I visited Simple Global to complain and insist that my products be released. Darius refused to meet with me (he hid in the warehouse) and instead was met by the then CFO, David Neuschwander who promised to clear everything up. But then, the CFO was fired by Darius literally just after I left. So the entire meeting (and hours spent traveling back and from Philadelphia) was a sham.
Now a new financial officer, Maureen LaBeau insists that all will be forgiven, and they'll release my 500 ice scrapers, if I pay them just $2,700, of course in advance. I've been told not to visit as I'll be rebuffed and no one will meet with me.
I am so darn disappointed by Simple Global. This is the prime time (and only time of the year) that I can sell my ice scrapers. Darius know this which is why he is blackmailing me with these fabricated charges.
The other partners/associates at SG who participated in this fraud include Eric Caruthers and Paul Banasik. They are also unscrupulous people and should be avoided.
