Simon's Tire and Auto Repair

Review: In July 2014 this shop inspected a vehicle for [redacted]. I purchased a [redacted] that had been recently inspected by [redacted] at Simon's Tire and Auto. I purchased the car on Jul 22, 2014 and on August 4, 2014 I was told by my mechanic that the car had cracked motor mounts and a worn out exhaust housing,none of which would have occurred within 3 weeks of owning the vehicle.[redacted] was confronted by telephone and asked if he would pay for the vehicle's repairs that were needed in order to bring the car into compliance with state Inspection and he advised he was not responsible and that the car had been properly inspected.A complaint was filed with Virginia State Police, wherein they advised this is not the first time [redacted] had been investigated for this type of issue and that he had been warned to to a more thorough inspection of cars as his inspections are sub-standard.Desired Settlement: At this time I would ask that Simon Auto Repair pay the amount of $851.95, the cost of the repairs needed to bring the car into compliance due to poor job done at the state insepction
