SimonMed Imaging

November 29, 2022 I had a CT Scan done for which I was charged $486.56 which they charged to my CareCredit Card, I then found out later that I only should have paid a $70 copay which I did not know at the time. Once SimonMed billed the Insurance and received their payment of $438.49 they sent me a statement showing the insurance payment with a balance due of $70. I called their billing dept to find out where my $486.56 payment went and have gotten nothing but the runaround...simply put...they cannot find the payment that they charged me or received from CareCredit. So now I'm out $486.56 plus the $100 I've already paid toward my CareCredit Bill. I have spoken with 6 different billing agents over the past 3 months and each one has given me a different excuse. One of them advised me to send an email with the proof of the charge/payment and provided me an email address to send it to so it can be expedited. That is a laugh as well, after 3 attempts of speaking w/different staff one of which spoke w/her "supervisor" who supposedly found my email and sent to the powers that be to take care of the situation. Care Credit is in the process of doing a fraud claim for which is taking forever as well because SimonMed will not comply with their requests. Now it is 3/2/23 (3.5 mos) since I have been trying to get reimbursed for my $486.56 payment (minus the $70 copay I'm responsible for) and I have received another notification that I owe them $70...REALLY people, how hard is it to do your job?
