Response:
This customer has called in several times complaining about a bill that he is looking to for us to reimburse him for. Based on information provided to me from my current Pre Owned Sales manager, [redacted], this customer has even come in asking us to reimburse him for repairs that he incurred.
While we make every effort to resolve all consumer issues as soon as they arise, we cannot simply pay a customer money simply becuase he is asking us to do so, and without a copy of the invoice for the repairs he is claiming to have incurred after taking delivery of the vehicle.
If you could provide us with a copy of the invoice in question, we can perform our due diligence on whether it was in fact a result of our negligence or not. I am in not way agreeing to pay for this invoice at this time. But in order for me to answer this complaint on behalf of my Sales Dept., we will need a copy of the invoice for the disputed amount of $475.00.
You can forward it to me at [redacted] and I will be happy to forward it to my sales dept. After they have completed their investigation, I will be happy to get back to you.
thank you.

Response:
We have received a copy of a handwritten repair invoice which is not clear and very difficult to read.
[redacted] purchased a pre owned vehicle which was up to all safety standards when he left with the vehicle.
He chose to register the vehicle on his own, outstide of NYS (which is the state that we are located in).. and we have no reason to believe that the vehicle was not operating or performing as it should. He was asked to bring the car back here to our facility so that we can correct any issues he was complaining about - which he did not.
We cannot be responsible for paying for repairs that were done to the vehicle after a customer has taken delivery of a vehicle, and one in which we have not had an opportunity to review ourselves after the customers complaint.
No reimbursement is due to this customer.

Sincerely,
Review: I originally leased a Mercedes Benz in Cleveland OH. As my lease came close to expiring, my father wanted to purchase it or possibly look into leasing a newer model. I was not sure if that was possible and contacted Silver Star Mercedes. They told me it would not be a problem and that they would work with me over the phone. They told me my father was approved and they decided leasing a new auto would be the best option. They requested I give them a $500 deposit so that they could order the new lease. I gave them one. They then overnighted my documentation and requested I needed to sign right away, I thought that was strange since I was not re-leasing but my father was. And I explained I could be in NY to return the car if I needed to.
They insisted on sending me a package.
Upon receiving the package, I found that I was being included on the new car lease as a co-signer. I refused to sign and requested that the car be only in my father's name. They told me he does not qualify on his own and will continue to look for another creditor. it has now been 2 months and my calls are not answered and returned. I want my $500 deposit that was taken for absolutely no reason back.Desired Settlement: I just want my deposit back since there was no service provided and I did not sign any contract to lease with the dealer.

Sincerely,
Review: I was told that I needed to have brakes done on my car on 9/**/13. I agreed to have them done and paid nearly $600. I was told that the work was done and left. I later realized that I had locks on my wheels and I was never asked for the keys so they can remove the tires in order to do the brakes. When I questioned the service manager [redacted], he told me that they have duplicate key. I told him that I was uncomfortable with that response and that since I was in the waiting area, they should have asked for the key or my permission to use whatever duplicate key they had. I returned to the place on 10/*/13 so that [redacted] can show me the duplicate key. He had a lot of excuses but never showed me the key.Desired Settlement: I want someone else other than [redacted] to provide an explanation as to how the tires where removed without the key. I want to see proof of their spare key to my wheels.
