Silver Queen Hotel

The silver queen hotel needs to be temporarily shut down and fully inspected and treated for bed bugs for the public's health and safety. On September 21st 2013 my wife and I stayed the night at the silver queen for our Anniversary in room 12 (the honeymoon suite)and had a decent time. but after returning home within about a week and a half my wife started noticing bites all over her arms and legs . she was seen by her doctor and was told she was being bitten by bed bugs. we had multiple exterminator companies inspect our home and found that indeed we had some. due too the timeline of the bugs and the fact that we have not traveled or stayed anywhere else between then and now we were informed that we had brought home bed bugs from this hotel and that our home now had a small infestation. At the cost of $2,200.00 we had to have [redacted] pest control come in and heat treat and chemical spray our entire home to "hopefully" rid these nasty creatures from our lives. I have asked the owners of the Silver Queen to contact me to see what they will be doing about their situation and how they will be reimbursing me for the treatment costs that we had to come up with due to their negligence but still have not heard from anyone. Again, The silver queen hotel needs to be shut down asap and fully inspected and treated for bed bugs for for the health and safety of its visiting public.Desired Settlementfull refund of $100 for our stay there and the full reimbursement for the [redacted] pest control treatment service at the cost of $2,200.00. I have all receipts to prove costs of treatment.
