Dear *** ***, In March 14th of we were dispatched to do a warranty call for Mr*** on his Frigidaire refrigerator. Our technician found that ice had gotten on the evaporator fan blade stopping the blade from turning. The technician removed the ice and ordered the part
that appeared to cause the problem. He went back to replace that part on March 30th, On May 4th, (days later) we were called again for this and discovered the same issue happening again. The tech installed the same part on again and also another part for good measure. When the problem occurred again in a few weeks later, I got involved. This was very puzzling and frustrating because we had replaced the parts that normally caused this problem more than once. At that point, I tried replacing the parts again and when that didn’t work I tried to improvise. When that didn’t work, I tried replacing the same parts again and added another part that I didn’t try before. I also discovered that the water pressure from the water supply was too high. This is a plumbing issue and not the fault of the appliance. I considered this before but the pressure at the kitchen sink seemed fine. The shut off valve behind the refrigerator may be bad, but I turned it off half way and it seemed to work OKI am not sure if that last additional part I put on the refrigerator fixed it or if shutting the water supply shut off half way off fixed it, but it works now. During this whole process I spoke to the Frigidaire tech line several times and received mostly the same answers. I totally understand Mr***’s frustration and I’m very sorry this took so long . It seems that we now have solved the problem. I spoke with them today, September 29th, 2016, and they said it was OK nowThanksJim W*** Owner
