Review: I had [redacted] come out to evaluate my house, he was on time when we met, but after the 10 minute evaluation he gave me a quote and then charges me $75 for the estimate. He never told me there was a charge for an estimate, and typically contractor provide free estimates, I had 3 other contractors evaluate the same repair and none of them charged me. His quote was also twice as much as the other quote for the same repair. [redacted] said to me the reason he charged me $75 was because I wasn't hiring him, I told him that's not good business practice to be charging people without telling them, I ended up paying him $50, I shouldn't have paid him anything, but he lives in my town and I didn't know him, and if he's a crook already so who knows what he's capable of. If he's done this to me he's done this to others.Desired Settlement: I would like my $50 back, but do not want to have any contact with this crooked man.
