Hello, this is *** the woman in the office that spoke with the customer to schedule the appointmentI spoke with *** and she did state that it had to be delivered after 3:00pmI told her that I would put her on the schedule for that time but could not make any promises that it would
be able to be delivered at that timeI told her that I would call her if anything changesI was aware that my driver called her to ask if she was around due to him being near her area at an earlier timeOnce he left that area we ended up having a few other deliveries added on to his schedule which caused my driver to have to go in the complete opposite direction of her location and that is where the problem set inI called her to let her know that we were not able to deliver this table after 3:00 or 3:30 like she stated to my driverI was trying to work with her and explained to her what had happenedShe was very frustrated already, telling me that another company had made deliveries to her and the product was always damaged and that she didn't want us to leave the table there for that factI did say to her that it was not our company that attempted any of her prior deliveries and that I was sorry for prior bad experiencesI was being very professional with her and did not appreciate being sworn at and yelled at as I was trying to work with herI offered her the next day early morning delivery which she in turn refusedShe continued to scream out of control and did not want to hear anything that I was saying to herMy driver does not get paid by the hour, so her writing that we did not want him to make the delivery because we did not want to pay him is not a true statement at allWhat it all boils down to is that we did try to work with her and was very apologetic about not being able to make the delivery at that time but, no matter what was said she continued to swear and scream about itI did tell her that I would get back to her with a solution when I was able to come up with one being that she was so Irate it was hard to even speak and get a word in while on the phoneThis was already into the end of my work day and was passed on to another employee who was able to schedule it with her and it ended up being delivered the next as I asked her prior in our conversationI am confused as to why the customer has even written a complaint when all we were doing was trying to work with her on all levels to get it worked outShe had a bad experience with another company and unfortunately we got the blunt end of it but were still able to get the job done.
