What does it mean when I have gotten a confirmation number from you to my email address

Someone used an email address of mine to sign up to this service and I am now getting a junk mail in the hundreds each day to this little used email address that had been 'clean' before BEWARE

Someone used an email address of mine to sign up to this service and I am now getting a junk mail in the hundreds each day to this little used email address that had been 'clean' before. BEWARE.

Review: I have repeatedly attempted to unsubscribe from the email list, and have failed every time. I then contacted Signature Surveys to ask that I be removed and have as of yet recieved no reply. According to their terms of agreement, simply unsubscribing to will not unsubscribe a person if they are a member. I, however, have never been a member and cannot produce login information to cancel my "membership" (if I have one).Desired Settlement: Stop contacting me
