If I could give negative starts I would. Or even better a picture of a steamy pile of dog poo. Worst experience EVER. Ordered 2 shutters in November and 6 month later still don't have anything installed. Broken promises, no shows for appointments and out right lies. The work order, written my Ken, is impossible to read. The fabrication shop either can't read the work order or don;t care what it says and the installers are rank armatures who don't know what they are doing. Attempted to deliver warped shutters which they say they are remaking and made the other one for a window when it is supposed to be for a door way. They tried to deliver the door shutter 3 times now without any modification even thought each installer took pictures and detailed notes to give back to the fabricators. Finally they said they will remake the door fro scratch. That was 3 weeks and 4 appoints later and still no shutters. I get the feeling they are running a Ponzi scheme and it is all finally catching up to them. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE! You are better off throwing your money in the trash.
Review: The first was they did not install shutters on time as promised and when they did come they were 5 hours late for the appointment. The order was placed on June 7th 2013 with an estimated delivery of 6-7 weeks. When they called and said the shutters were in they made an appointment to install and then they didn't show and did not call us to let us know they weren't going to show. We called the next day to set up another time and when they came that day they were 5 hours late and did not have all of the shutters with them so they had to come back the next day. When they did install the shutters they did not install properly there was a bad shutter which still has not been replaced so what my complaint is they have not completed the job. They have made appointments to complete the job but have failed to show up. Tried to call to find out why and they ignore the phone calls so at this time the job is incomplete and it is now Sept. 7. 3 months from when the shutters were ordered.Desired Settlement: Just to contact us and set a date and time to come out and complete the job as requested. This company has very poor customer service

The customer was contacted and scheduled for repair on Monday, Sept 9, 2013. The customer was only available on Sat., Sept.14, 2013, so was scheduled at 12 noon.
On Sat., Sept 14. 2013 at 12 noon, I repaired and/or replaced the issues Mrs. [redacted] was concerned about.
The owner of the Condo, [redacted] ([redacted]) was my point of contact for both setting the appointment and follow up.
Mrs. [redacted] was present at time of Repair and/or Replacement.

I have had a very positive experience dealing with signature shutters. The pricing was very reasonable and the expertise of the salesman, office staff and installers was second to none. I have already refered this company to others and will continue to do so!

We were told shutters would be ready in 30 days. It was 3 months before shutters were installed. There are problems with 2 of the shutters and we've waited over 3 weeks for problems to be fixed. They would tell us they would come on such and such a day and then not show up. Owner doesn't return phone calls. Shutters are nice, but would be nice if they could be opened.
Love my shutters! Will gladly refer Signature Shutters to my friends and family.
I have had a very positive experience with signature shutters. The shutters that were installed into my home were absolutely beautiful and at a price that I could not find elsewhere. I will highly recommend this company to my family and friends.

Review: After taking the initial deposit for the items purchased, the business was 2 months tardy in delivering and installing the items in my home. Within these two months, I had to call the Business manager, [redacted], at least 5 times and request a delivery and installation date. It was not until the 5th time that the issue was resolved, after being re-scheduled one time (July 27th, 2013).
Upon the installation (August 3rd, 2013), I noticed some defects in the product, mainly how one of the shutters was becoming stuck as it was being closed and shut. When I brought up this concern to the crew present, [redacted], he shared that the shutters are under lifetime warranty if the issue persists. Approximately two weeks later, August 15, 2013, I contacted [redacted] and shared with him the issues regarding the function of the shutters. I was informed, "We will get our service guy to call you back." [redacted] took down my contact information as he "was not able to get to the original order."
Two weeks passed and I had not heard back from anyone from the company. I called again on August 29th, 2013 at which point, [redacted] took my contact information once again to "pass it off" to his service technician.
Another two weeks passed and still no contact from Signature Shutters. I contacted [redacted] once again, September 13th, 2013 and requested the direct line for his service technician. I was provided with [redacted]'s number. I spoke with [redacted] on September 19th, 2013 and scheduled an appointment for September 21st, 2013.
No representative showed on this date, I contacted [redacted] again and he sounded rushed and frantic as he explained, "oh, sorry I forgot my book and we have been just so busy."
Another appointment was scheduled for September 28th, 2013. Once again, no one showed. After speaking with [redacted], another appointment was scheduled for October 5th, 2013. Once again no one showed.
I called [redacted] who shared, "Oh yea ... sorry, We were in [redacted] doing installations and I didn't have your number with me to reschedule." Another appointment was rescheduled for October 9th, 2013 for 5pm. No one showed up. I called [redacted] and his associate answered the phone. Stating, "Oh, we have you on our schedule for 10am on Friday, October 11th." This consumer explained that the appointment was not scheduled for that time as the home-owners are at work thus would not schedule service appointments when no one is home.
Another appointment was scheduled for 5pm on Friday October 11, 2013. No one showed up.
This consumer LM for [redacted] requesting a CB and summarizing the situation over his voicemail.
At the time of this complaint on Monday October 14th, 2013, this consumer has yet to hear back from Signature Shutters. The issue has yet to be resolved and the product continues to be defective.Desired Settlement: I am requesting the Business provide full repairs of the defective product as well as compensate this consumer by offering restitution for inconvenience as a resulted by the frequency in No Showing for scheduled appointments. The vendor can do so by complementing this consumer with two additional shutters for remaining windows in the home. If consumer is not willing to do so, the repairs to the current shutter must be completed within one month of initiate service agreement.

While it is true that the Shutter was picked up for repair, it has yet to be delivered back to my home. The company has scheduled 3 visits to install the shutter and has been a no show for each visit.
Please consider keeping this matter open until this issue is completely resolved as I am still missing the damaged shutter.

On February 10, 2016 a lady came to my home to sell me shutters. She said I needed to pay for half which was 1024.00. I was informed my shutters would be installed in 4-5 weeks. As of 4/14/16 they still haven't been installed. The company has poor customer service and every week I am told that I am on the schedule for install. This has happened now 4 weeks in a row with still no shutters. I have spoke to various managers who have promised I to install the shutters. I was told their installers quit and they were understaffed. I have requested my money back (1024.00) but have yet to receive a check. They keep saying its on the underwriters desk to sign. I am now out $1024.00 and have no shutters. Please beware of this company.They are the worse company I have ever dealt with!
Review: Signature shutters came out in 10/8/2014 to give me a bid on some shutters and said it would be four to five weeks before they would install them I had to call them after five weeks which they came out the following week and said they would be there around 2:00 but show up at around 8:00 at night with the wrong shutters (cut out for the French doors) they took them back to correct them and came back about a month later only to find out that the bedroom shutter was made upside down then came back again after many calls to them then to find out that the double French doors shutters were different sizes I was kind of happy at that point because the door handles were not centered with the cut outs and could only open the door with the handle down not up also because the cut outs were not centered they came back again to find out that they made it the wrong size again now it's 7/9/2015 and I have one door that has one shutter that will not stay closed and the wood is warped, also not centered and the other door still missing the shutter I feel after nine months time to look for someone else to make the shutters they have not even called me back in at least three months good thing they only wanted half the money up front but now it's going to cost more just for the two French door shutters because it's a small job nobody wins here my advice use someone who is licensed with the register of contractorsDesired Settlement: Make both shutters the same and center the door handles like they should be and get the shutters to stay closed when the door shuts

Review: Signature shutters Installed 6 shutters for us...2 months ago [redacted] the owner of the company was at my house to fix an issue with the shutters. I pointed out to [redacted] another problem with one of the shutter that has chip on the frame when it was originally Installed. [redacted] assured me he would make a new frame & call me to replace it. I asked him how long it would take to make & replace it? [redacted] said two weeks. that was two months ago. a month passed never heard from [redacted] I called again I talked to [redacted] she told me I will call [redacted] right now & ask him about that. [redacted] called me back & assured me she will take care of it personally. she said when its ready she will call me. again I waited another month & again have not heard from her either. I called 06/17/14 left a voice message for [redacted] & [redacted] & told them I have patient but this is extremely long delay to respond to a warranty repair. no customer should wait two months for a minor repair. there's also some adjustment needed on some shutters. they need to be aligned correctly.Desired Settlement: fix or repair the shutters.
