returned the vehicle [redacted] called and said there was a problem with the rear defrost and issues with the tint on at least one window.  I offered to fix or re-tint the windows that had a problem but [redacted] declined and at that point insinuated I was responsible for the damage to the defroster on the rear window and stated he was going to take it to [redacted].  I do not recall seeing any damage before or after I finished the tint job but I told [redacted], I wanted to do what was right, take it to [redacted] and I will file a claim with my insurance company.  I filed the claim, [redacted], my insurance company, investigated and determined I did not cause the damage to [redacted]’s rear defrost.  [redacted] sent [redacted] a letter stating they were denying the claim because they determined I was not liable. At this point my hands are tied.  If I were to negotiate a deal outside of my insurance carrier I risk being dropped.  As a goodwill gesture I refunded the Money [redacted] paid me for the install and called [redacted] to offer him another alternative, he never returned my call. [redacted] can file a claim with his insurance carrier they can conduct their own investigation and if they determine me to be liable, they would subrogate against [redacted] to collect the damages.  That is the best I can offer. Thank YouMarcus *.
