Moved to area that they don't service in and they want to charge me a cancelation fee of $300+ dollars because they signed me up for a 3 year contract.they even asked me to send my house deed to them.I could not believe what I was hearing.then the guy says u can mark out sensitive info if I wanted too.you guys are a pest control company you dont need to see my house deeds thats none of your information I highly do not recommend these guys stay away.stanley is the salesman I had and now he's not picking up the phone at all about this matter and if I don't pay this cancelation fee they send to debt collector.again stay away from this company nothing but a head ache

Salesman came to my door, and I stupidly trusted him. I was told that I could cancel at any time and that there was no contract. The $70 a month to control mosquitos did not work, and after 4 months of letting them perform the service, I told them I would like to cancel. Now they hit me with a predatory 80% cancelation fee! Scammers and liars. This is how they make their money. I told them that I was told by the salesman I could cancel, but they informed me that I had signed an 8-month agreement that the salesman just thrust his cell phone into my hands and said sign. That's what I get for trusting this stranger. Now they have threatened me with, "Just so you know, if this isn't paid, it does get sent to a third party and affects your credit... You signed an agreement with us. We are required to follow what the agreement states." What a bunch of bull! A company does not need to "follow" the agreement if it is made under false pretenses.
Stay away from these guys.

They are not transparent. When I signed the contract, I told them I don’t want to be in 1 year contract and should be able to cancel any time without any extra fee or cancellation charge since I don’t know their quality is. Sales guy said the he updated the cancellation fee as zero and I signed the contract. He purposefully did not sent the contract to my email. When I ask them to cancel it after 8 months I had to pay 80% of remaining services as per the contract which I was not even aware of .

Told me they only charge when they come spray. Then come to find out they forged my signature for a quarterly contract that I had nothing about they have been trying to charge my card every month I had to cancel my card now they are sending me notices saying I’m 15 days late. If it’s quarterly why are they trying to charge me monthly? These people are scam artists slam the door YOU WONT REGRET IT I only gave 1 star because I had to I would of put 0

They spray water. Nothing but water. They have not managed to kill one single bug around my house. They tell me it takes time to work... it's been a year. I tried to cancel and they hold up a contract claiming that they do not actually have to provide any service - they can just bill you and do nothing. This is a terrible company.

I have been with SPM for 2 years. When I first signed up I knew pest control services were something that I needed living in a new construction home. My two years just ended and I signed on for another 4 years. I have never seen one pest in my home in the last two years and they even come and knock the nest out when the bees/wasp come back. Thank you SPM for your continued kindness over the years.

THE WORST SO CALLED PEST CONTROL PEOPLE THAT SAY THEY CAN GET RID OF BUGS BUT CHARGE YOU WITHOUT TELLING YOU THAT THIS WAS QUARTERLY. I SENT THEM AN EMAIL THAT I DO NOT AGREE WITH THEM TO NOT TAKE MONEY OUT MY ACCOUNT AND THEY CHARGED ME 743.03 these people are SCAMMERS. They lie to you. I literally told them if I see another charged on my account after I tell them to not change my card again they still did. I told them that I do not authorize any charges on my card and they still did. Now I’m disputing with my bank.

The salesman was very misleading and told me I could cancel the service at anytime. The second month I attempted to cancel service they are now telling me that there is a 2 year contract. I asked them to provide me a signed contract and they could not. That is not how you operate a business. The customer service is rude and hangs the phone up or will say they will call you back but never does. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

This company is a scam. Services are ineffective (we have cockroaches, ants, chiggers inside and outside the house. The house is brand new). They dropped by 3 times in 6 months, no difference in bugs. We could use the backyard due to chigger infestation and had cockroaches and ants running inside. They refuse to cancel the contract and demand payment despite not providing any useful service. I bought some pesticides and applied it myself and can already see improvement compared to before. Do not hire their services.

This company is by far the worst company in this business.

Their products don’t work, I have had lines of ants on my lawn. I called them to be let out of contract and they won’t do that. They tried to bill me for 80% of the remainder contract if I didn’t pay for the service.

This is entrapment and bad business practice. I don’t recommend these people at all.

I should have know that this company was trouble when the canvasser “Stan the bug man” first words were “I have literally been waiting for you to move in for months” as we are holding boxes attempting to move into our home attempting to get past him. “I’ll make this quick” just like everyone else right? He stood there in our pathway to walk inside as we’re still unloading boxes out of our moving truck into our home. Because my husband wasn’t home, I told him that now was not a good time and that my husband would be back soon. I did however listen to his pitch of low payments, no contract yada yada yada. When my husband returned Stan was nowhere to be found, thankfully. But I did mention to my husband we would need pest control soon. He agreed and we kept unloading boxes. Once again here comes Stan trying to pitch to my husband even though I told him now was not a good time. He continued to stand in our pathway and my husband asked what his deal was. He asked my husband to stop so my husband gave him time and told him that he would not charge him some Starr up fee that he told me previously he would charge, lower monthly payments and no contract. Well, a few days after we signed up someone comes out to spray, we gave it a week and still had the same amounts of bugs, including spiders and now scorpions. We called a couple weeks or so ago and guess what? We ARE under contract and now have to pay for terrible service for the next YEAR! We asked to be let out of the contract and they refused. Do NOT sign anything with this company, there is a contract, their service isn’t great and their customer service was worse! If you have one of these canvassers come your way, just close the door, it’s certainly NOT worth your time!

Please do not hire them and save your money. My brand new house is filled with spring tail bugs and they came and sprayed so generously all over my house and two days later way too many bugs and now they are all over even worse flying in the house. My home defense spray bought from home depot for 30 bucks did a much a better job

This business put my family's lives at risk by sending door to door sales people to my house during a pandemic. They are unknowingly going to kill someone by using these types of business practices. To make matters even worse, the sales people were not using masks or protective gloves, even though they shouldn't have been out in the first place. I will never use their services for as long as I live in the area, and will make sure to tell my friends (some who have even have had them come to their door recently) to do the same
