Review: We hired Signature Design Center to remodel 2 bathrooms. First part of complaint: During the design phase, the master vanity was sketched too large. We paid for the larger vanity before that was discovered. Jorge, our designer, promised us $90 off the contract price at final payment, but when I paid the "final payment" [redacted], our project manager, told me to pay the whole contracted price and promised me that [redacted] the owner, would make it good (as well as possibly give us more money back due to the fact that the time to completion was longer than the contracted period). That has not happened, even after we met with [redacted] and he assured us that, now that he was involved, we would be taken care of. Second part of complaint: During construction Jorge offered to order mirror frames for our master bath that would match the stain of our vanity. He said he would do that at no extra charge. They provided the frames, but one was warped. We notified Signature Design Center and they told us that the warping would straighten out once mirror was installed. It did not, so we asked for the frame to be replaced. The replacement was cut incorrectly (the mirror wouldn't fit back in), with stain "holidays", and the mirror we had purchased and had installed previously was scratched during the time they had it. They took the mirror and frame back again, and brought THE SAME FRAME back, holidays and all, with the back of the frame re-worked so a mirror would fit, outfitted with a far inferior mirror (think "fun house" mirror). We, again, asked for a replacement and refused to let [redacted] take that mirror back until the new one was brought to us because we had been without a mirror for too long. Phone calls and texts to [redacted] and multiple requests to speak with [redacted] are being summarily ignored. The project began on 7/24/13. We have been fighting for a year now to get a quality mirror frame, as promised, and over payment money refunded.Desired Settlement: We would like a check for $1,590 - $90 refund for the vanity overcharge, $500 to purchase new mirrors, $1,000 for them not completing the project within the contracted time. As well, we would like an apology from [redacted].
