In August 2019, *** and Sierra Window Treatments came to my home and took measurements to install shutters in my spare bedroom. We provided a $250 deposit. With a signed receipt. We were promised delivery and installation completion in 6-8 weeks. We have reached out to her no less than 20 times. She has only replied 2 or 3 times and promised to return the deposit. It is now late May 2020 and she still will not respond. We spoke February 2020 and she apologized and said she would return the money in 2 days. It is now four months later.
I hired *** (owner) to make and install shutters in my house on july of 2019. She got me a writing estimate/contact, she asked for half of the total. I made a check for $570. She cashed it the next day. She mentioned verbally that the shutters were going to be ready around the first week of october 2019. I never heard from her. No updates, nothing. I texted her and she wouldn’t reply. She replied once saying she will keep me undated. That never happened. It’s February and she’s not responding to texts or phone calls.
ME and my husband contacted Sierra Window Treatment *** .She came to our house and did window measurement on 11/9/19 and collected $3250 check towards the down payment. She agreed to install by 20th of December or January 1st week.We are trying to contact her via phone and text message not answering our call.Still we are waiting for the service.
Cathy took $350 deposit from us in August 2019 with a promise of blind installation in 10/19. We’ve never heard back from her since. I believe she has stolen our money as we are completely unable to get ahold of her.0
has never delivered our window treatments or responded to email, phone calls, or txt msg. We ordered $1400 of blinds in June and were told it would take 6-8 weeks. There were multiple excuses and delays and the window treatments have never arrived or been installed.
We have placed an order for shutters installation with the above-mentioned company. The order was placed in the month of April and we were told that installation will complete within 6 weeks' time. It is the month of October now and we have no news or communication from the vendor about the installation. The vendor has also taken an advance payment of 3500 dollars towards placing the order for shutters. I have made the payment via cheque and I have it for records.
We have made several attempts to reach *** ( ***) over phone, messages but haven’t heard a response from her company on our shutters installation, as per our initial discussions we have agreed for 8 weeks of waiting and it’s past due, we paid a deposit of 3000 usd on December 21st 2018) now been almost twice the wait time after they collected the deposit , we have tried to reach her and get our shutters installed, but all our attempts failed as she neither picks our call or responds to our messages, failing to deliver business commitments to clients is a violation as per the business codes, we have informed her over an email today stating that we will reach out to *** for help in resolving our matters , so filing this complaint to get help. Please assist us in getting a remedy.
Thanks
We reached out to Sierra Windows Treatment in January for plantation shutters. She promised the shutters in 6 months. After months and months of delay and excuses, the owner *** came in May to install our shutters. Unfortunately, the installation was incomplete. Per Kathy, one of the shutters for one of our windows was missing. Also, many of the louvers were damaged (during the delivery process) and one of the window blinds was not cut properly. She said she would come back in 2 weeks to fix the issues as well as install the last shutter. After two weeks, she did not come. Emails, texts, and phone calls were left un-returned.
