My name is [redacted] owner of sierra tire and wheelI recieved an email about a used tire complaint which I do not have any idea of what they are talking abouti was here all day yesterday may 6, an did not recieve any complaints about used tireswe have not had any complaints in a very long time, but if they have a problem with our tires we are more than happy to help themwe need proof of purchase and vechicle information.PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT WE CAN DO TO RESOLVE THIS MATTER

I am rejecting this response because: the blowout of my tire occurred on May 6, 2015. I would not have  and could bring my car to Sierra Tire & Wheel. There is nontransaction history because no one provided me with a receipt.  After the tires were put in my vehicle, I pulle $110 out of my wallet (1 $50 bill and 3 $20 bills) because I thought there would be tax and labor charges. The younger employee who put the tires on said it would be $70, $35 for each tire, so I handed him the $50 bill and a $20 bill. During the transaction I was informed the tires were different makes and I asked if that would make a difference and I was told it would not. My car is a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica, light blue.  My car is currently sitting outside of my house because of the blown tire. In addition the other tire's tread is completely worn, unable to be driven. What is Sierra Wheel & Tires resolution for that?

Business states that they are finished with the back and forth e-mails regarding the situation. If the consumer wishes to discuss the matter further, they are welcome to come to the shop so the matter may be reviewed and possible resolutions considered. Business would have appreciated if they were given the opportunity to handle the matter before going to the Revdex.com and filing a complaint.

I am rejecting this response because:You did not provide a receipt. And to insinuate this is a scam after my car went out of control on the road because of bad tires I purchased from your shop, is not only insulting but ridiculous. If you did not provide a receipt and now want to hold me responsible is also insulting. If this matter is not resolved, I will have no choice but to contact the Board of Equalization re: the cash business and I will let social media and the court of public opinion resolve this issue. $70.00 is not a lot of money and to think that your business is so important that I would create a story to scam you is beyond insulting. There are hundreds of used tires hope in Sacramento so I am unsure why I would choose your shop instead of the others to scam is baffling to say the least. What you did was wrong. I called your shop before I came and I have the phone records to prove it. It is not good business practice to scam a customer and then insult them. Good businesses resolve issues with customers in order to keep business.

Review: On April 22, 2015 I purchased 2 used tires from Sierra Tire & Wheel. On May 6, 2015 one of the tires blew out. After AAA came to tow me home and after reviewing the tires it was determined the tread on both tires was gone. Even though the tires were used I did not expect them to blow out within 2 weeks. The owner of the shop wanted to sell me new tires and when I declined, the owner abruptly walked away and told me another gentleman would be assisting me. I would hate to speculate the owner was trying to get back at me for not purchasing new tires, but that's exactly what it feels like. My family and I could have been killed because of this. If punitive damages can be levied against this company, they should be.Desired Settlement: I want this shop regulated or closed down for knowingly selling bad tires to its customers. They're practices are very dangerous and it's putting customers in danger. I want a full refund of the $70 I spent and I want a harsher punishment for the owner.
