in trying to schedule an appointment on monday Feb 8, with ***, a Drthat I've previously seen, I spoke with a scheduler named Linda who is very rude, and said that I need a new referral (even though I am an existing Patient) to see ***today, Feb 11, 2016, my Dr(***) gave a new referral to *** and I just received a call from Linda at ***s office and this time she started by asking if I had any new MRI/Xray so I could schedule an appointment, I tried to explain thats what I was trying to do Monday when I spoke to her and then told her to her face that she was rude and that when I did get my new MRI/Xray that I would probably choose another Drto see because of her rudeness, and she thanked me for choosing someone elseAt the least I think *** should know how his workers are acting towards His patients
in trying to schedule an appointment on monday Feb 8, 2016 with [redacted], a Dr. that I've previously seen, I spoke with a scheduler named Linda who is very rude, and said that I need a new referral (even though I am an existing Patient) to see [redacted]. today, Feb 11, 2016, my Dr. ([redacted]) gave a new referral to [redacted] and I just received a call from Linda at [redacted]s office and this time she started by asking if I had any new MRI/Xray so I could schedule an appointment, I tried to explain thats what I was trying to do Monday when I spoke to her and then told her to her face that she was rude and that when I did get my new MRI/Xray that I would probably choose another Dr. to see because of her rudeness, and she thanked me for choosing someone else. At the least I think [redacted] should know how his workers are acting towards His patients.Desired Settlementpersonal acknowledgement from [redacted] that he is now aware of [redacted] behavior.Business Response This person was a patient 3 yrs ago. Any prior patient is treated as a new patient after one year of not being seen from an exam perspective. We require our patients to come in with diagnostic imaging as we are spine surgeons. This patient was informed of this. However, he had conflicting information in our system related to work injury claim vs private insurance and when trying to explain the "rules" we have to abide by, he became agitated. It was our understanding he would have his work comp fax info in to us. He called back after this and said he would pick a new doctor. We do not understand how all this turned into a negative compplaint.
