Sierra Ranch Apartments Reviews (10)

I've lived here going on years now with my new lease Kara , Cody and Jr have always taken care of my needs and any issues I've might of had I've seen a few changes over the years...but this last year had the best with Internet access and cable included in the rent for with a $a month Entertainment package through Dish NetworkIf you upgraded your cable they would discount the the package price Grounds are kept clean and landscaped regularlyLaundry room is state of the art with no cash used, kept neat and orderly For security reasons the entrance door locks behind you after one leaves! Just use yourpool key to enter again

If I could give this stars I wouldWhat appealed to me was the price of rent and what was includedDon't let the price fool you, it's low for a reasonEverything is cheaply made, nothing works, everything breaks, and flat out lied toI was promised a fully renovated apartment and upon moving in, was given an old outdated apartmentI have had to call maintenance monthly for water leaks (that took almost weeks to fix), closet pole breaking, bugs, etcNot to mention my car getting broken into by transients walking the streets and dumpster diving right outside my apartmentMy roommate and I are paying an outrageous amount to break our lease because we consider this place UNFIT for livingWhen dealing with the assistant manager (that has worked there for years) he "forgot" who I was and said he was too busy and never called me back even when I called times, left voicemails and even walked into the office twice to speak in personFrom a "business stand point" there was nothing he could do to help my situation because I waited too long to voice my opinion and I've only lived here for months, and that was months too longThere's a reason why this place has a horrible rating, I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPLEX TO ANYONE!!!

Bad experience, very arrogant manager.
They showed me a display unit and even though I insisted to see the very apartment which I wanted to apply for, they didn't accept (They said since it is not ready yet we cannot show it to the future tenant). When I signed the apartment lease I went to the apartment and saw there is a washer/dryer outside of the kitchen and it takes the dining area space and in front of the bed room door. I was shocked. I asked them to at least remove the washer/dryer and I'll use the public laundry instead since it makes the dining too small for my furniture and makes the unit look horrible. The manager's answer was that it would cost us and we don't do that. So I asked the guy at least transfer us to another apartment he said it is possible but you should pay for the transfer fee and termination. To me this shows poor customer service and poor management.

I've lived here going on 20 years now with my new lease.

I've seen a few changes over the years...but this last year had the best with Internet access and cable included in the rent for with a $44 a month Entertainment package through Dish Network. If you upgraded your cable they would discount the the package price.

The Sierra ranch management staffs are very rude. The only day they treat you well is when you go to their office as a new customer. Once you sign the lease , they wont even bother to say hi. They try to squeeze every penny out of you and won't fix any problems in your apartment when you raise a ticket. The manager is a bully and will threaten you with legal notices if you raise a ticket or go to the leasing office. She will say that you are trespassing to keep your mouth shut. they have all bad reviews all over yelp and google.

From a "business stand point" there was nothing he could do to help my situation because I waited too long to voice my opinion and I've only lived here for 5 months, and that was 5 months too long. There's a reason why this place has a horrible rating, I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPLEX TO ANYONE!!!

After renting an Apartment at Sierra Ranch a check was to be refunded for the deposit which was over $200. The apartment was vacated 07/31/14. To date 10/14/14 I have not received a check. I have been told the same story for the second time in a row. They will check your address each time to ensure they have it correct and then tell it will be 14 days before you may get. If you don't call us back and we will find out. This has happened twice now. I was told the address was too long and the apartment number was cut off so the check was returned to the home office in Texas. Texas got the check then sent it back out properly addressed. The check never came. Today I am told something was wrong with the address and a check has been sent out again. I really don't know if I am being told the truth. I have not been able to get a check number and date from them. Hopefully the check will come soon. I would suggest the buyer beware when leasing from Sierra Ranch. The population in the complex are mostly from India although I am caucasion. I believe this company is holding onto money that needs to be refunded within a reasonable amount of time. Aren't there laws to govern this? Three months August September and fourteen more days into October it will be three months. I really hope others will be treated more fairly. Also a friend of mine rented from the same complex and the check "came back"...another instance of a check "coming back". But to readdress it with the correct forwarding address they deducted about $30 from the check for a fee charge. Is this just another way to take money from the masses and put it into the hands of big business. Beware of leasing from Sierra Ranch.

A message to management: Your office managers need to be given the power to right wrongs when they occur. Last night I received a 5 day letter on my door. I have been in your complex for a year, and was enrolled in your auto debit program. According to your office staff, letters were taped to doors and messages were posted throughout the complex stating that you were changing the online billing system. I did not receive a written message (I cannot be the only one) and I do not spend time inside of the complex. My apartment is on the outside edge. I walk to my apartment, and then to my car with no exposure to any of the sign posts. I do not use the onsite laundry facilities. I had no way of knowing that your complex was changing over to this new format. Fast forward to today. I went in to your main office and explained the whole situation. The staff were EXTREMELY helpful. They were not rude, they were polite, courteous, etc. After explaining the situation, I was told that a manager would need to help me. After speaking to the manager, I was still unable to get the help that I needed. He was "unable to revers the charges." I am hoping that someone in upper management sees this post. The situation that I was put in was wrong. It is flat out dishonest to take late fees from your customers, who until now had paid on time EVERY MONTH. Not only is that wrong, but your office employees do not have the power to reverse any of these charges! I ended up paying the late fees. It was between that, or walking out and being evicted. That is not a position that someone should be put in by an apartment complex, or really, any establishment. I urge the owners to look at their policies and structures regarding their managers, and give them the power to reverse fees when the situation calls for it. Feel free to contact me through Facebook if you have any questions, or need any further clarification. I appreciate your time. I love the complex! Just not the way that this went down.
