It started back in 11/04/2015 I had an appointment with [redacted] I was their for almost 4 hours with no contact with the Dr. he was checking me for glaucoma. then he wanted a follow up visit to check my pressure again the day I got my visit and a bill for 27.58 was paid online with my HSA Card from my employer. Then 01/15/2016 I received another bill for the same amount which had been paid 12/23/2015 but the bill that I receive in January stated 31-60 days. Now I have another bill which was paid on 12/23/2015 now it stated 61-90 days. I already paid this bill my problem with this Eye center is the no one answers the phone from billing and a person has to wait for hours on end with out seeing any one and they take you into the back area and leave you their for more hours. I spoke with my insurance company the person that I spoke with said the she checked if it was paid and it was paid. So she called them and left a message for them and asked them to send me an apologies and that receipt paid in full it did not happen I tried to contact them again no luck for contacting them.Desired SettlementI have a very good fica score I am not trying to cheat any one that I owe money to. I want apology from them and a paid receipt from showing the bill paid in full and some one to call me. Business Response I'm [redacted] Administrator - I just received your 3rd notice today. I'm sorry this was just received today; I am looking into why this notice and the two previous notices were handled more efficiently.I will have [redacted] respond to the inquiry on the internet.However given that we've never had to respond to such an inquiry before so I'm not sure what's relevant to say... I was wondering if you could provide direction. All our exams are recorded electronically - so here are the facts. The patient in question states that their 11/4 exam was almost 4 hours. In reality, the patient was in our office for 2 hours - she had a 3:15 appointment and left at 5:15 (these times are recorded). The patient's exam was critical/complex; it can easily take 2+ hours. In her specific situation - the tech spend 40 minutes in work up. Two tests were performed. And then [redacted] spent 22 minutes with this patient. We provide high quality exams; she received it.She states that she paid $27.58 in Dec on 12/23 and received a bill for the same amount on 1/15. Please note that our statement was in queue for mailing prior to 1/15. We received payment from the insurance company on 1/15 (again, electronic payment and date available)... and her account was updated accordingly. Our biller spoke with the patient in mid March (3/14-3/16) to resolve the payment issue. (This patient paid on our customer portal and for some reason, our biller missed this payment initially.) The payment issue was resolved, the biller apologized for the inconvenience and the patient stated she was very happy. As such, I'm not sure why this situation is continuing to be pursued when we've resolved it.
