Review: The customer was hired to do a deck reseal. As part of the contact he was to install new plastic drains. The deck resurfacing went very well, however the plastic drains did not. The were not particularly professionally installed, but I could over look that. However they kept raising out of the cement channels. My first call was promptly returned and [redacted], owner left a message saying because they were very busy do to the short Memorial Day week he'd call back the follow week. He did not, so I called him and left messages on June 4th, 6th, 7th, and 8th with no return calls. On June 11th I sent a certified letter to him asking him to call. Again no return call. I all so left messages on his web site. Finally I used a phone with a number he couldn't recognize and he immediately picked up.He was extremely apologetic and said he wanted to make it right and when he had a crew in the area he'd fix it. A crew did show and fixed part of the problem (and the worst part) but didn't finish job. We have a language problem as I don't speak Spanish, but I felt they knew what needed to be done. What they did fix looked okay, although not great.I continued to have additional problems with the drains popping up and again called [redacted]. He said he would come by and did when I wasn't home. He left a message and said they were fixed. What he'd done is step on the drain and push it back in the channel. he acknowledged this and said the problem was the expansion and contraction of the concrete, conceited to me if was a permanent fix. I waited another week and called him back (this was last Monday) and he assured me he'd be by on Friday between 2 and 4 and again was a no show. And again ignored my calls. All I want is the darn thing fixed and it is probably a 2 or 3 hour job, max. I'm just tired of being ignored. Frankly he strikes me as a nice guy and I want him to act like one. [redacted]Desired Settlement: I just want it repaired, once and for all.
