Review: On 5/7/2016 I hired the Sid Chung Plumbing & Rooter Service. Plumber to come and repair water leak under bathroom Basin.

First issues: Mr. Chung,the plumber never inform me of the needed repairs to be done prior to the start of job.

Second issues: The plumber remove a brand new 3/8" ID water hose line. The new hose had been installed one week prior to the 5/7/2016. Ms. [redacted] had requested by texting to Mr. Chung Twice (2) to asked that she would receive a credit or return the brand new 3/8" ID water hose. Mr. Chung had not attempted to refund or returned the 3/8" ID water hose, as of to date 5/29/2016

Third issues: Ms. [redacted] never received itemized breakdown price for the repair items used for the repairs.

Forth issues: I feel he had taken liberties and over charge me for the work was done because I am a woman.

Fifth issues: The leak was not with the new 3/8" ID water hose line. The only reason the Sid Chung Plumbing & Rooter Service hired was because the water was leaking from the angle stop valve.

I will never hired Sid Chung Plumbing & Rooter Service company again.Desired Settlement: The plumber removed a brand new 3/8" ID water hose line. The new hose had been installed one week prior to the 5/7/2016. Ms. [redacted] had requested by texting to Mr. Chung Twice (2) to asked that she would receive a billing adjustment or return the brand new 3/8" ID water hose.

Business states that they have attempted to contact the consumer directly but have been unsuccessful. Business would like the consumer to contact the business directly to set up an appointment to further review the matter and address the issues. [redacted]

Response:

This letter is to rebuttal the response from Sidney Chung Plumbing service. Mr. Chung had contacted [redacted], and wanted give to her a 25.00 cash rebate. That was not acceptable nor, was he sincere to make good of our complaint filed with the Revdex.com. [redacted], tried several attempts to contact Mr. Chung on May 7, 2016, and May 10, 2016. He said He’d get back to me on May 7, 2016, and did not. It wasn’t until the Revdex.com Revdex.com contacted him on May 24, 2016 when she heard from Mr. Chung again. She believes she was over charge for his service, and wanted her money back. She paid him and he over charge her. [redacted] never got itemized receipt for the work. But however he removed an existing new water hose so he could install his own water hose and charge her for his work performed. As of today she still has not gotten the newly installed water hose back from Mr. Chung. Mr. Chung had not reduced the price for his services. And/or returned her money. Review: I hired Mr. [redacted] to replace a warranty part on a pressure-assist toilet. Mr. [redacted] was unable to fix the toilet and informed me that I needed to purchase a new one. I paid him $150 for his effort.The same day I removed and re-installed the warranty part (after watching a how-to video). Mr. [redacted] had installed it incorrectly. I was able to install the part, repairing the toilet. I called Mr. [redacted] to tell him what happened and requested a refund. We agreed that he would refund $25.00 to me. I was not entirely satisfied with this amount, but did not wish to argue the point further.Mr. [redacted]'s check for $25 was returned by my bank stating that the account was closed.I have a copy of the returned check as well as a carbon copy of the check I wrote to him for $150.Desired Settlement: Ideally, I would like the entire $150 returned. At a minimum, I would like the $25 returned to me.

Business states that they apologize for the mistake. Business intends to fully reimburse the customer in the amount of $175. Business will do a personal delivery in cash to the customer home.
