Review: I went to sideshow tattoo on 6/20/2013 to get the chargers bolts on my shoulders fixed. The tattoo artist name was [redacted] and he was suppose to redo the bolts on both shoulders for $320.00. When he was finished I went home to view them and noticed that on the right shoulder he put one of the points on the bolt backwards. I called the shop the next day and spoke with a second tattoo artist by the name of [redacted]. He told me to come back to the shop and he would fix the mistake. I went in and he fixed the point on the right shoulder and had to enlarge both tattoos to even them out. He also added negative shading to both shoulders. He charged me an additional $160.00. He told me to come back in a week to finish shading it in to make it solid black for no additional charge. When I returned to the shop and asked for [redacted] I was informed that he no longer works at the shop and they have no way of contacting him. So I then talked to a third tattoo artist by the name of [redacted] and he look at the tattoos and saw the mistakes the first two artist made and told me to let my skin heal and to use vitamin E tablets and oil to expedite the healing process and to return in 7-10 days and he himself would fix it and no cost. But when I called to make the appointment he told me that he had to charge me a set up fee of $80.00. So I declined because I was told that the work was guaranteed if I needed any touch ups for free.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my money so I can go to a different tattoo shop to get them done correctly.

Dear [redacted]:
This letter is in response to notification sent to Sideshow Tattoo & Piercing dated Tuesday, August 20, 2013 with reference ID [redacted] from [redacted] at the Revdex.com.
It is Sideshow Tattoo & Piercing policy that all sales are final, no refunds, no exchanges. You had work completed by two different artists, who work as private contractors with Sideshow Tattoo & Piercing, and had left each time expressing no dissatisfaction with the quality of work provided to you. When your wife last spoke with [redacted] on the phone, he had expressed to you that the Artist who last did work on your tattoo was no longer tattooing at this location, and that he would gladly complete the black shading you requested. The $80.00 set up fee is a minimum price that is required by the shop for any of our private contractors to perform any tattoo service. [redacted] understood your situation with the two prior sessions you had sat through, and offered to charge you only the set up fee and wave any charges on hourly cost. That was the last communication we had with you until receiving the letter from the Revdex.com.
It is my position to notify you that there will be no refund of the $480.00 disputed in your claim. However, the same conditions remain to complete your tattoo if you so choose. [redacted] will still gladly do the work you request at no hourly charge, only the initial $80.00 set up fee required by shop policy.
Reguards,
Shop Manager
