Review: On June 22, 2007, I purchased a [redacted] in red) for $1,240, the matching [redacted]) for $850, 2 matching [redacted]or $270 ($135 each), and the extended warrantee for $150; totaling $2,510 (taxes not included), from Sid Millers appliances in Bloomfield, CT. Just before the 4 year extended warrantee was up, I started having problems with the pair, mainly the washer (the dryer problem was resolved; however, it is having the same problem). When I called Sid Millers, they gave me the name and number of the company to call for the repair of my washer.I called the repair company, they came and went. The washer only worked for a little while before I had to call the repair guy back. After a couple more visits, Sid Millers sent over a new ** washer for me to use until my ** was fixed and took my red ** back to the store with them and said that they would have the repair person that specialized in ** machine repairs come to their shop and work on it there to save me the inconvenience of having to be home waiting for the repairman. As days, weeks, and months passed by, I would call them for status updates on my washer. I was told that they were waiting for a part to come from LG, or that when I asked to speak to Al, who was seldom there and never seemed to **t around to returning my phone call. After a while, my calls became less frequent.Around the middle of 2013, I reached out to Sid Millers, to see what they were going to do about my washer. Al, the owner, said that he would call me on Tuesday of the upcoming week, to finally resolve this machine issue once and for all. Tuesday came and went, at least 4 times and I never heard from Al. Al stated that the last time we spoke, he asked if keeping the ** washer that he provided me to use would settle everything. He said that since he did not hear back from me, he assumed that I agreed and accepted his offer; I would not have agreed to such an arran**ment because I wanted a high capacity, matching red set of washer and dryer.Desired Settlement: When we spoke a week or so later, Als offer was that a) he would sell me a white, large capacity washer for about $650, or b) he would sell me a matching washer and dryer for something like $2,300 or so, if not more, for a GE washer and dryer pair, and I believe he said $370 for the matching pedestals, or c) he could sell me a white dryer for I think $850, which would include the matching pedestal. Which means; I would end up with a white washer on a white pedestal and a red dryer on a red pedestal. That is not what I bought, nor what I wanted, and I definitely had no plans or intentions of having to purchase a washer and or dryer set in such a short period of time
