I am rejecting this response because: First off the text messages was me wanting a answer on what to doNo one would call me back and half texted me, I had to show up at thier office to talk to them and it wasnt two hoursMore like minThey rejected my co and neglected to tell me what to doThey said that if I plant trees I would be able to resolve the issueI got with my wetlands consultant and he told me what to plantAfter I planted all the trees that was requested sickles told me that it wasn't good enough and it was passed onto the stateNow why couldn't he just pass me to the state in the beginning instead of making me jumped thru hoops for a month not giving me a straight answer meanwhile charging me for itOn top of that, when the state took over they didn't even care about the treesThe main issue I had was my house was off the footprint by four feet on one cornerI needed to get new drawings made and have the state approve itI highly doubt that this is sickles first wetland issue, for them not to give me a proper direction.
As for the foundation as built, I never even heard of that until nowThe township approved every step of my building, why sickles wasn't involved was beyond my knowingMaybe if I knew about this as built for the foundation it wouldn't of been off feetWho is responalable for that one? I've never built a house in New jersey so I sure don't knowWouldn't this fall under the township and sickles responsibility? I know I paid them for itBuilding a house is supposed to be fun, but these two parties made it a horrible experience and I regret every bit of it.

I feel they should of known what to do when they rejected me, and gave me a direction to take.  Instead they wasted my time for a month not giving me a proper answer, and on top of it they charged me for it. This...

Response:  We are attaching a copy of our letter to Mr. [redacted] dated 11-5-12. This letter clearly states  sixteen (16) months prior to rejecting his certificate of occupancy (CO) that he should consult with his engineer and surveyor because it appeared he was clearing wetlands.  Furthermore, we state in the letter, if his home construction extended into the freshwater wetlands and/or transition area that we would not be able to issue an approval for a certificate of occupancy (CO).   Mr.  [redacted] proceeded to build his house with total disregard to this warning. Mr. [redacted] states we wasted his time for a month while not giving him direction.  This statement is not true.  We rejected his CO on 3-3-14.  We have a total of 48 text messages between our inspection department and Mr. [redacted] between 3-12-14 and 3-31-14.  We had a 2 hour meeting with Mr. [redacted] in our office less than two (2) weeks after the CO rejection letter.  Furthermore, we spent additional time on phone calls, coordination and meeting with Mr. [redacted]’s engineer trying to resolve his compliance issues with NJDEP wetlands encroachment.

Review: Sickles refused to grant a co due to wetland issues and delayed telling me what I need to do for a month, meanwhile charged me $454.23 for doing so. End result they did nothing but hurt me.Desired Settlement: I don't believe that its fair for them to have the upper hand over me and abusing the power of attority
