In response to the Statement by [redacted] ***:"In February my boyfriend and I went into Sick Ink to set up an appointment for his tattooAfter we showed them pictures of what he wanted, to make sure they could do it because he had something specific in mind, we made the appointment (for months later) and put a $deposit down for the appointmentAbout a month before his appointment, after Sick Ink had called us to request pictures for the tattoos, we printed out the same pictures that the originally had and took them inThe guy that was at the front desk took the pictures to someone in the back and then came out and told us that the artist would not be able to do what my boyfriend wantedObviously, he was very upset since we had shown them the same pictures MONTHS AGO and the said nothing about not being able to do what he wanted doneThey next day I called them to cancel because my boyfriend wanted to go somewhere where they could actually do what the wantedWhen they told me that he would forfeit the deposit, I explained what happened, and all of a sudden the artist said that he could do the tattoo that the way my boyfriend wanted, it just wouldn't look rightSo, my boyfriend decided to change his tattoo idea and emailed the new picturesAbout a week before his appointment I called to See if there were any additional funds that would be neededThey guy that I spoke to said that he wouldn't be able to give us the total price since the artist was off for the next few days, but he didn't see why the $deposit wouldn't over the cost of the first sittingI called the day of the appointment (because the artist was off Saturday and Sunday, and Monday was a holiday) and Spoke to a Women on the phoneAs I was talking to her and asking her questions, she was asking someone in the background my questionsWhen I asked her if there were any additional funds, the voice in the back told her that he had a $minimum, $an hourI explained to her what the person said a few days before and she said she was on that day so she would have been the only person to speak to (this is because I spoke to a man) and that the situation "sicked" but it was our fault for not asking earlierI asked her if we could reschedule, and she said noFirstly, I do not understand how there is a $minimum, as not every tattoo is going to be $or moreSecondly, how is there a policy of a $minimmum, but none of the staff know about it, and it is not mentioned to us at all in the last months?"Response: (fixed some grammar mistakes So it is easier to read)"In February my boyfriend and I went into Sick black blurrTrying to advise the client, we still offered to do it the way he wanted originally but we ended up agreeing to do one of the bigger pieces he had wanted."Obviously, he was very upset since clearly stated in multiple areas of the shop that all deposits are non-refundableIt is posted everywhere including the counter where they filled out the release form and also in the release form that he specifically initialed himself as you see in the photos attached."So, my boyfriend decided to change his tattoo idea and emailed the new picturesAbout a week before his appointment I called to see if there were any additional funds that would be needed.' -We have no record of any phone call made from her, just an email where another drawing was requestedTotaling approximately hours of drawing time now."The guy that I spoke to said that he wouldn't be able to give us the total price since the artist was off for the next few days, but he didn't see why the $deposit wouldn't cover the cost of the first sitting.” -Again, there is no record of said callAlso, no employee of ours has any recognition of said phone conversationAnd as far as cost, each employee is 100% aware of price and again, there are signs posted in multiple areas around the shop as shown again in photos attached, specifically for this reason so things like this does not happen and everyone is fully aware before making an appointment."I called the day of the appointment (because the artist was off Saturday and Sunday, and Monday was a holiday) and spoke to a women on the phoneAs was talking to her and asking her there a policy of a $minimmun, but none of the staff know about it, and it is not mentioned to us at all in the last months?' -Firstly, she was not the one that called usWe called [redacted] himself to make sure everything was still going as planned, like we do with every appointment, and he informed us everything was still on and he'd be in at 5pmShortly after is when she called us asking how much more the session would cost, since they didn't have much moneyShe stated that they didn't have more than the deposit to put towards the sessionThat is when we informed her that it is a $minimum and roughly $an hour, which is actually less than the required minimum and hourly rate that we have posted on the signs around the shop but since she said they had a problem with cash at the moment and their appointment was in an hours time, Jesse figured he'd cut them some slackShe explained to us that they might be able to come up with some money, but she would have to speak with ***She told us she would call us back and let us know what they could doShe did ask to reschedule, but as stated again all around the shop and on the release form that he personally initialed and signed, deposits are nonrefundable and in Order to reschedule the artist Would need AT LEAST hours before the appointment in order to reschedule and find someone else to take the appointmentSince it was nearly an hour before the appointment was scheduled to start, that was completely impossible at that point in timeWe explained this all to her and that is when she said she would give us a call backWhen it got close to 5pm, we tried to call both her and ***, with no luck on either endWe assumed they were still coming in since that is what [redacted] had told us earlier in the day, So we set up as and waited around until 7pm when it was clear they were not showing upAs far as not understanding the $minimum because "not every tattoo is going to be $or more", this is the minimum specifically for JesseAll the artists have their own rates and he has specifically set rates and guidelines for his appointments and they are all made clear by the signs around the shopIt is not required by us to State this aloud to them, we make it clear on the release forms, that we have EVERY client sign and initial, and the signs we have posted for everyone to seeIt is not on us when a client chooses to not read before they signInstead we had to sit around waiting for an appointment that never came, without any noticeSo not only did we lose out on hours of wages, equipment, material, and not to mention at least hours of drawing time put into multiple pieces in the meantime of his appointment, but we also have to explain ourselves on hereSo thank you so much for continuing to waste our time and money that is already at a loss for well over dollars

later) and put a $200 deposit down for the appointment. About a month before his appointment, after Sick Ink had called us to request pictures for the tattoos, we printed out the same pictures that the originally had and took them in. So, my boyfriend decided to change his tattoo idea and emailed the new pictures. About a week before his appointment I called to See if there were any additional funds that would be needed. They guy that I spoke to said that he wouldn't be able to give us the total price since the artist was off for the next few days, but he didn't see why the $200 deposit wouldn't over the cost of the first sitting. I called the day of the appointment (because the artist was off Saturday and Sunday, and Monday was a holiday) and Spoke to a Women on the phone. As I was talking to her and asking her questions, she was asking someone in the background my questions. When I asked her if there were any additional funds, the voice in the back told her that he had a $400 minimum, $150 an hour. I explained to her what the person said a few days before and she said she was on that day so she would have been the only person to speak to (this is false because I spoke to a man) and that the situation "sicked" but it was our fault for not asking earlier. I asked her if we could reschedule, and she said no. Firstly, I do not understand how there is a $400 minimum, as not every tattoo is going to be $400 or more.
