Shull's Towing PO Box Brewster, WA [email protected]: Complaint ID# [redacted] In response to the individual complaining about a recent vehicle impound involving our company.As a tow company, we are required to follow state laws regarding the procedure for notifying registered owners when their vehicle is impoundedWe are told the proper paperwork to be sent and the days allowed in which this must be doneIf this is the harassment the individuals speak of, we are quilty of following regulationsHowever, we never made any phone calls as claimed to the individuals, all calls were from them to our companyOur employees only state what is required of us in an attempt to explain the necessary steps we are required to followIn addition, "scare" tactics are never intended when explaining to individuals what happens through laws of the Washington State Patrol (WSP) and the Dept of Licensing (DOL) when infractions go unpaidWe have been in contact with the Washington State Patrol regarding this situation and it was confirmed we were doing exactly as we should to send the required paperwork to the registered owner on recordApparently, the individuals had filed a seller's report, but at the time of the incident, even though the DOL had confirmed it with them, there was no pertinent paperwork in the system to the WSP until after the incident occuredSpeaking with Trooper [redacted] #***, he planned to contact the individuals of complaint with a more thorough explanation of this 'gray area' between the DOL and WSP which, as this case shows, ended up involving our companyThis complaint does not in any way reflect our customer service issuesOur time is always focused on how we can best help and provide for our customersFortunately for these individuals, they have no concerns with their desired settlement, our company has been released from sending them any more paperworkSincerely, Ann S [redacted] Owner
