Waiting for refund on deposit for 2 months. Have called 3 times to correct issue and still no check.I signed a lease at July 9th and gave a check for deposit. My move in date was for July 22nd. I cancelled my lease on July 19th. Was told same day that I would be issued a full refund of my deposit and will not be penalized with any charges. Called on August 13th to the main office [redacted]. They did not have my forwarding address, so I gave them my information and was told I would receive a check in 7-10 business days. I called on August 22nd (today) and was asked again for my forwarding address, and that they never processed my check. I was told again it would take 7-10 business days. It's well over a month now, that I should have received my refund and still have not gotten a check. This is horrible service and do not plan in the future to rent from an Avalon Property if this is how they plan to handle service. Desired SettlementI would like my refund expedited and received by August 26th. I've waited well over a month because of errors on their side and having to continually call to make sure I ever receive my refund. Business' Initial Response Avalonbay Customer Care center is in the process of refunding the deposit.
