Some online research revealed that [redacted] is ShowCase's own brand, and their return period is 30 days for exchange or store credit only, i.e. no refund. I cannot believe it's still legal nowadays but can see it makes total "sense" to the business as it only carries cheap, low quality products like the one I bought. Purchase am item at the store spent 20-30 minutes discussing the item and the return policy. Asked if item could be returned. Told as long as seal is intact ok ro return. Never told that it was not a cash return only gift card return. No good explanation about return policy on sales receipt
Purchase an item at the store that was defective. Went back for a refund. Never told that it was not a cash return only gift card return. No good explanation about return policy on sales receipt (it only says 30 days).
Decided then to upgrade the item but was asked to wait 40 minutes for the person that tests the items, so they could test the item I was returning.
Told them I couldn't wait and I shouldn't be responsible for their operational issue. The associated denied us the option to talk to the manager (on the phone, as there was no manager at the store).
They kept repeating that we had to wait and kept processing the purchases of the other customers totally ignoring us.
At this point I told them we could show them how to test it so I could finally have the new item.
Terrible customer service.
