The homeowner was given a opportunity to level his subflooring for additional pricing The Floor Project (*** ***) was dealing with them and then they closed down their store and moved back to Kansas and now they no longer want to be involved I will gladly go fix their issue for
additional cost This was the issue all along....they don't want to pay for the additional cost The cost for the leveling will be approx dollars Please let me know how they want to proceedThanks, By the way.....I haven't heard from these homeowners in over months
The Floor Project has closed Faulty product claims should always go through the store I have reached out to the old manager's about ***'s flooring They don't know which direction to send me either because the Floor Project has closed the doors and are no longer serving the St
Louis market It looks to me like the flooring has cracked in a few places for whatever reason The first thing that normally happens when a homeowner has a complaint is they send out the manager and he looks over the flooring and they work with me to get it fixed I don't have that option here because the Floor Project has gone out of business and moved out the the St Louis market The Floor Project maintains the installation warranty as well as the product warranty if there was any on this particular product but since they are no longer here, there may not be a warranty on this floor I am normally compensated for these types of claims.....but since the Floor Project has closed and moved out of the market, I don't think they will do anything about this issue I went over to ***'s for the sake of due dilligence....looked at the flooring and in my opinion the subflooring has loose nails that have popped up and are pushing through the flooring or someone has rolled something across the flooring that was too heavy I carried the box up to her dining room because she asked me to I have never committed to a date to fix this issue or even committed to fixing the flooring at all I have seen claims like this take years to get fixed because the store or the manufacturer drag their feet In this case, The Floor Project has closed down and are no longer in business in St Louis and based on that fact, they are not likely to do anything in regards to this claim I would be happy to go over and take up the floor and fix it However, this will be a situation that *** will be charged for my teams time and any materials needed to fix The Floor Projects issue
