Short Loads

Review: First of all the phone number in the yellow pages is different than on your site-the number we have dealt with is [redacted]. We originally ordered concrete for a Sat morning. As it was pouring rain they called and it was rescheduled for Sunday 1-2 pm. We scheduled for help to arrive so they would be there and ready for the concrete's arrival. We initially called at 12:30 to confirm the concrete was coming and it was confirmed.We called again at 1:30 and were told it wasn't 2 pm yet. At 2:30 we were told the driver was detoured due to a movie production in New Orleans and at 3:30 we were told they lost contact with the driver and they would call us back. THEY NEVER DID! Meanwhile, as we have good business principles we paid the agreed on $100 for the help that sat there for 3 hours while the concrete never showed up. My fiancee called 3 times the following week to speak to the owner and was always told he would call back, but he never did. Meanwhile, this forced me to contact another concrete supplier,take a day off a work and spend another $100 to get weekday help. This is no way to do business and I feel others should be forwarned.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement of our $100.00 we paid for help with concrete that was never delivered.
