Hotel Room Cleanliness Concerns
I stayed in room 1001 this past Saturday 7/28-Tuesday 7/31 and I had several concerns about the cleanliness of the room I stayed in. I have pictures attached. There was thick dust on the ceiling, spider webs and spiders both in the room by the windows and outside I counted 25 spiders (5 inside my room), and pee stains on the pull out couch mattress. My room was not cleaned the first day, so I called to get service.
I was going to post pictures on social media, but decided I'd email a manager Lisa on 7/31 first to see what she could do about my situation (refund). She never responded.
The ceilings and windows should be cleaned more often and the mattress with pee stains should be replaced.
Refund for stay at your hotel. Also a plan of action to ensure other guests aren't affected by the unsanitary room.

Thank you for bringing the matter to management's attention. Please know we take pride in the cleanliness of the hotel and facilities and I am sorry we missed the mark during your stay. Please know that had we been notified during your stay, we could have resolved these problems for you or moved you to a room that exceeds your expectations. Housekeeping is aware and we are doing everything we can to eliminate the spiders, including adding additional preventative measures than what we normally do. Unfortunately, we are on the lake, so keeping all inspects away does prove to be difficult, especially on the outside of the building. We could have easily dusted and cleaned the mattress though, and I am so sorry that we didn't catch it prior to your arrival. For the inconvenience, I have refunded you credit card $348.22. I know this does not eliminate the problems you had, but we take these matters seriously and we appreciate you letting us know. We do hope this doesn't deter you from staying again.
