In response to the above referenced complaint, the customer also made this same complaint through our website and the customer was contacted and the situation was resolved. It appears that the customer misunderstood the time frame for delivery on orders placed online.  For example, if he...

selected a 10am delivery slot, he was unaware that the website states we have a 2 hour delivery window and the order can arrive anytime between 10am-12pm.  This time frame allows for impacts of weather and traffic that are beyond our control.  All of the customer orders have been placed under the "pay on delivery" option so he is not being charged until his delivery is made and is only charged for items that are received.  It is spelled out on our website that our ads/prices are in effect from Sunday-Saturday.  This customer was placing his orders in one week with one price in effect for delivery a day the following week so the same sale prices do not carryover from week to week. (An order can be placed 6 days in advance).  This was all addressed by the phone call that was placed to the customer after we received his complaint through our website.  All of this information can be found on the on-line ordering site at www.shoprite.com. Thank you, Kathi M[redacted] KTM ShopRites
