increase request to the Card Services Department for $3,100.00.  The Card Services Manager asked that the branch officer approve the request prior to raising the limit.  The Branch officer inadvertently sent an approval back to the Card Services Department for $3,000.00. When the customer tried conducting the transaction for $3,026.27, it was not approved due to the error in the increase amount.   The customer notified the bank on January 30, 2018, stating the transaction was declined.  A new purchase request limited was requested and completed for $3,100.00 and the transaction was allowed to post to the account for $3,026.27 on January 31, 2018. On April 09, 2018, the customer deposited an amount of $1,630.00 in the account.  The Complaint stated the funds were to purchase a computer.  Any purchase can be made from the account up to $2,000.00 and the funds are available for purchases.  It is beyond the banks control when the merchant processes the transaction from the account or ships the merchandise.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
